The space

Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy your stay the fullest in Brooklyn, yet for less $?

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REMEMBER TURN OFF THE AC IN YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE.

This house is located the trendy hood called Brooklyn Lefferts Garden. This room is part of the house that's based in multi-ethnic, friendly, safe neighborhood. Cafes (check out Gratitude Cafe on Rogers ave. and Midwood st.) and restaurants reflect various backgrounds. A yoga center just opened only two blocks away. I can also take you or show where to go for a delightful hang out spots or bars with Jazz concerts and hilarious comedy shows.

Please note that this not a hotel room with a 24 hours service which is why it's so so so much cheaper, and much more laid back than hotels. Also, the room is in a house that was built in the 1920s so while you can find so many of Brooklyn's characters in it, it's not really shiny. In addition, the pictures are taken by a professional Airbnb photographer. I love those photos but some guests commented that Airbnb photos didn't convey the real look of the room. In any case, pictures are taken for the same room, I assure you. Lastly, please consider picking up after yourselves (towels, bath stuff, bathroom mat, and wash your plates/pots after cooking). At times, guests think that the house is untidy or dirty when it's actually another guest who decided to leave things unwashed... etc. :). In addition, please be advised that when you don't clean after yourself in the kitchen or bathroom, or when you eat in your bedroom that there may be a chance that you see a mouse or roach. Thanks for reading.

Enjoy your city in the great New York City!!!

Natasha is great. I was unable to actually make my trip but working with her was awesome. Next time I need a place to crash I will support her cozy nest. Pretty sure the biggest draw was use of a bike. If you need a great headquarters this lil gem is a good find.

Natasha and her family are just awesome. In the second night my room was cold so I sent a message to her to turn on the heater. 15 minutes later they turned the heating system on and knocked on my door offering extra blankets. Made me feel at mom's home.

I would not stay here again if you paid me. The woman, room #1, seems to hover over the place, waiting for you to do something wrong. When you do, there’s door slamming. The worst was how she moved my things around, my personal property. So your boundaries are crossed. She actual…

Response from Natasha:
Regarding the personal property, the other female guest had to ask her to remove the used sanitary towels that Marcia left on the top of the sink in the bathroom. Marcia also felt free to put used socks and intimates in the hallway. Also, she left the gas on while the stove was not lit, which would have been dangerous if the other guest didn't smell it in the house. When I emailed Marcia about it, she never responded, explained or even apologized. Marcia showed a really bad communication skill. Before checking in, I sent her several emails asking for the check in time, but Marcia didn't give me a time. At no time I or any other guest touched any of Marcia's belongings that were in her room or personal space, but leaving a used sanitary towel on the sink did need an intervention.
