  • The Location is perfect… see and hear the ocean all day—start a bonfire on the beach in the eve, and when the night cools the way it does in California, walk across the street to this little cozy beach house and watch the smoldering cinders of the fire fade from the patio.
    My only complaint is the antique-store-like over-decoration. I'd use it again :-)

  • This house has wonderful ocean view!! It was great to fall asleep at night listening to the waves. Overall, the house is comfortable and very eclectic! They have taken the beach theme seriously and there are lots of wonderful little treasures to look at.

  • Awesome location and just steps from the beach. We loved sitting on the roof top deck in the morning with a coffee watching the ocean. The house is definitely eclectic, it reminds me of a grandparent's cottage. The hosts were very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process.

  • This quirky, cool house exceeded our expectations! The photos don't do justice to its warmth and spaciousness. We spent hours on the porch overlooking the beach, and of course many more splashing in the surf just steps away! We cooked for 8 in the well-equipped kitchen and slept very comfortably. We loved our stay in Santa Cruz, and we look forward to our next visit.

  • We enjoyed our stay very much, and the place was even nicer than expected from the photos. Very enjoyable and comfortable setting. Beach and a quaint lighthouse across the street, cafe and great breakfast just a short couple of blocks away. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you!

  • Quirky, but great little house right on the beach--the views are incredible. Kitchen was stocked with the necessities (utensils, glasses, spices, cooking ware), the full bathroom was large and comfortable, Easy to find, parking included and street parking out front. Very easy drive to downtown near any store or supermarket you might need. Internet connection was quick and easy (and appreciated). Instructions were easy to follow and lock-up was simple.

    Overall, I would have no trouble recommending and staying again. My stay was 5 people total, very comfortable.

  • This is a fantastic deal at a marvelous treasure of a house, directly overlooking the beach, and you can just wander downhill for all the fun you want at the shore. If there were a contest among Airbnb houses for how much sheer character a house had, this one would win hands down. There was plenty of room for our group -- two grandparents, one mom and three little girls. The off-street parking was a great bonus. We look forward to returning!

  • This place is a gem! It was so perfectly close to the beach and the views were spectacular! Dolphins , sea lions, all were to be had and the kids were loving every minute. This home really made for a memorable weekend. We are hoping to visit again soon!
