We did not meet Tariq in person but he is an excellent communicator so we felt welcomed from the time of booking. In any case, for us it was ideal to be able to just turn up and pick up the key in our own time. The flat is newly refurbished and met our needs. Although the flat is part of a rather dingy block of flats, the neighbourhood is fine, particularly being able to walk into the lovely Roundhood park, a few minutes walk away.
Tariq and Julia were very friendly and very helpfull. They stayed one night with us and they provided information about sightseeing, transportation and even helped and guide me in personal matters. They were great. Next time we'll visit London we will book with them. The neighbourhood was very beautiful, had access to train and bus stations which made it easy for us to visit the city. The house was very lovely and had all the comforts we needed.
I definitely recomend this place to everyone else who wishes to visit.
We had a wonderful stay at Tariq's and Julia's place. They were very welcoming and easy to reach all the time. They were flexible with check-in times and the apartment is as described very well located so that you can easily get to Wembley (where we attended a conference) and to the city centre.
The apartment was big enough for us 5 girls and I would recommend to stay with Tariq. We would love to do so, when we come back for next year's conference. :-)
Tariq's place may seem a little old from the outside but once you get in it is really really cozy, clean and comfortable. Tariq was really helpful and gave us many tips on where to go in London. The place is really near to many eateries and grocery stores, around a 5 minutes walk. Willesden Junction tube station is also within walking distance. All in all it was a pleasant stay and definitely worth it for the price!

Tariq was very quick to answer any questions and very accomodating re. arrival times, etc. The apartment was great - clean and safe and in a nice area. Very convenient for access to Statford and the Olympic Park. I would stay there again if I needed to be in the area.
