First, the positive: This is a studio apartment, centrally located, 5 min walk from a subway station. The apartment was really nice, with A/C, TV, and a small balcony with a great view of the downtown area skyline (the apartment is on the top floor).
Now, to the negative: Unfortunately, right above the apartment, on the roof of the building, there is some sort of a high voltage electrical cable going to the next building, which produces a constant electrical buzz noise. Possibly the noise even comes from some electrical equipment in the next building, which is a couple of meters away, I'm not really sure. The noise is similar to what you would sometimes hear when standing next to a high voltage electricity pole. This noise starts and stops every couple of seconds. At night (this is a quite street, despite being in downtown) this noise can be heard very distinctly even with the AC on and is super annoying (to me, at least). During my stay I had to sleep with ear plugs.
Due to the noise I asked to shorten my stay with 4 nights out of 8 still remaining, but Marcos refused giving me any of my money back saying that he won't be able to rent out the apartment on such short notice.
The noise issue really affected my stay there. Until it is fixed I would not stay there again and would definitely not recommend anyone else to stay in this apartment.
The apartment is very comfortable and friendly. It has everything you need to spend a pleasant stay and it's very bright. It is centrally located and ideal for professional and tourist visit. Marcos is a committed and caring person. He attended every one of my calls and reacted instantly by a small fault that took the Department.
Apartamente pequene a aconchegante, como demostrado nas fotos.
Negociação tranquila e sem problemas.
Marcos is a nice guy, very helpful and friendly. The apartment is really well set up, it has everything you need and it was such a comfortable space to stay in. It's super close to the heart of Bs. As., but it's a really quiet. I can highly recommend this apartment.
Hey! First review of this apt!
We stayed at Marco's for 4 nights and we found the apartment really cozy and warm, with a great size bath and a lovely view. The unit is as shown in the pics and it's fully equipped. A highlight: We loved the mattress so much that we're considering buying the same one! Ha ha ha.
The neighborhood is really quiet at night and the apartment is just a 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway station.
We'd recommend stay in this place and Marcos as a host!
