Thank you for having us as guests. Eduardo was very attentaive and always answered our questions. The wifi is great, the high ceilings make the house fresh and cool even with the intense heat of Merida. The water pressure of the bathrooms is very low and the shower head maybe need to be cleaned or changed as water pressure is very low in both showers but work well in the sink. The location is good and easy to get to. The pool is great and the backyard with the palm tress is very relaxing.

Rethi was very easy to communicate with and check-in/out went very smoothly with the help of her property manager. The location was a bit farther outside of center town than expected but fortunately in Merida, Ubers are super cheap to use. The photos depicting the property appear to be quite old given the size of the palm trees near the pool, so some of the furnishings are different, and the house could use a bit of updating, but overall the property was a great value. The neighborhood was quiet and there was ample parking near the home. The pool was quite refreshing after a long hot day in the sun. Would recommend to others!

Rethi's place is wonderful, the rooms are spacious and bright and the garden/pool area is beautiful! The bed was very confy, but the best was the attention we received there :) We would definitely go back again whenever we can, and we highly recommend it !

For the price it's a good find; but from the photos we expected more. Over all you can tell they made the house very pretty for the photos, but in reality they took most of the small accents away. - The linens where really old and uncomfortable. The shower in the main bedroom didn't get any hot water, and the second bathroom shower was all crazy the water came out to every direction. The towels also were very very stiff. - The walls really need a new paint job, it made the house look like nobody had been taking care of it for months. - In the photos the second bedroom has a headboard, a rug, a picture on the wall, and two sidetable lamps, in reality it's just the bed agains the wall. Also this second bedroom seams like it used to have a window but for some reason they canceled it out, so it's a very dark room. - The chairs and lamp in the main entrance where totally different from the pics, in the photos it makes the house look modern and stylish, in reality there were old chairs. - The area of the house is not walking distance from anything, it seams like a sketchy neighborhood. We used Uber a lot. - There IS air conditioner in the bedrooms so that is a VERY good thing. But there's no air conditioner in the kitchen area, we could never hang out there because it's SO hot and very little ventilation even if we opened all doors. - Bring your bug repellent because there's a LOT of mosquitoes

I'm a journalist, who lives in Singapore, but fell in love with Merida. That explains why I have a home in Mexico, which I hope will bring travellers the same comfort it has given me.
