Thank you Cheryl for a very warm welcome. We enjoyed our time in Rotorua. Our stay was very busy and we were amazed at the natural beauty of the area. All the best with your sea change.
We had a great stay, it was spacious, clean, comfortable and everything was provided that we needed. Cheryl was very welcoming and friendly and we liked her Eco credentials ! The position of the stay was glorious, quiet, scenic and there was the option of hiring equipment for the lake. Highly recommended and good value.
Cheryl is very welcoming. The Lakestay is a good place to stay. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed It very much.
Cheryl was very friendly, helpful and provided us with more than we have asked for. She gave us many good advices for things we could do in the area. I really appreciated that we could use the kajaks. Possum, the cat, was very cute.
We have really enjoyed our stay!

Steve and I have been living at Lake Okareka for almost 20 years. We love being close to the Lake and the water activities over the summer months. We have a wonderful swimming spot a short walk away and enjoy some Trout fishing on our boat.I have always been a keen vegetable gardener, although our plot here is a lot smaller now that the family are grown and left home.I love reaping the rewards from our Organic garden and processing the surplus into Jams, Chutneys, pickles etc, that you may have the chance to sample if you arrive early enough for an afternoon snack. We also love spending time with our grandchildren when possible and often have them here enjoying the lake environment, also.
