Interaction with Guests
I am a very social person, for the most part, I love meeting people and learning about what interests them, where they have traveled or anything else they are willing to share about themselves. Serafin is a warm and hospitable person who enjoys getting to know visitors from around the world.
We are 420 friendly (and legal)!....That means, Marijuana is used as a medicine here, legally.
We have three small, short-haired cats named Kiwi, Calliann and Mr. Gato who share our living space.
Our home is simple, comfortable, clean and peaceful. We welcome guests who want a comfortable and peaceful place to stay while they explore this magical island.
If this Cozy King Room is unavailable, please checkout our Cozy Queen Room for availability.
No smoking indoors, however we have a wrap-around deck where you are most welcome to smoke.
Our home is located on the edge of the Wailua River State Park and the Wailua Complex of Heiaus. In Wailua, you’ll find a variety of sightseeing opportunities and outdoor activities. Kayak the Wailua River in Wailua River State Park, take a boat ride to the Fern Grotto, or take photos at Opaekaa Falls. Don’t forget to try and spot the Sleeping Giant in the Nounou Mountains or take a hike up this scenic ridge. Sacred places like Polihau Heiau, the large lava-rock temple of Kauai’s last king, Kaumualii, can also be found on the East Side. And be sure to visit Kapaa Town to discover fine Hawaiian craft pieces, aloha-print shirts, jewelry and art.
But the golden beaches of the Coconut Coast may be the area’s biggest draw. Unwind at Anahola Beach Park, whale watch at Donkey Beach or watch the surfers at Kealia Beach to the north. Lydgate Beach Park in Wailua has two lava rock enclosed ocean pools that are perfect places for families and first-time snorkelers. Fun in the sun awaits you on the Coconut Coast.
There is a bus system here on Kauai, however it's recommended that you rent a car.

Wow!!
The hosts made us feel welcome, they gave us privacy, the location was just fine
I can not say enough great things about our hosts and this experience to do it justice! Michelle made us fee so welcome and comfortable, aiding us with everything from directions, to take out menus, hot wonderful Hawaiian coffee in the morning and washer availability. Food is expensive on the island so having access to such a user friendly, immaculate kitchen with herbs, spices, tupperware and great pans was a blessings. Michelle and her husband clearly care about showing their guests a good time and seem to have a knack for attracting great travelers from around the world. We were taking a class outside of Kapa'a and this residence was very convenient, without being in the thick of the Kapa'a traffic each time we went to class. It was an easy 30 minutes drive from the airport and easy to find, with festive lights all around the porch that are readily visible from the road, even when we arrived late at night. We had one day off from class and found this location to be a great home base for travel all around the island. They have 3 indoor cats.. two of whom you will meet and they, too, will make you feel welcome.
Our hostess, Michelle, and her husband, Serafin, were truly delightful snd friendly people. I could not ask for better hosts. The BnB was as described, and our own room was lovely. I didn't take much notice of the neighborhood, but the view of the mountains was beautiful! Serafin arose at 5 am each morning and there was coffee hot and ready for me when I struggled out of bed. I liked the location, not far from Lihue. I would recommend this BnB unreservedly, and, if we're ever again on Kauai, I would hope to stay there again. "Thanks, Michelle and Serafin."
The best place to stay in Kauai. All the people that stay with Michelle and Seraphin review 5 stars!
They are great hosts, they are charming and really helpful.
The room is really comfortable and the house is very nice.
Rent it now before someone does!
Michelle and Serafin were fantastic hosts, making us feel welcome in their home. Their cats are curious creatures, but friendly after some time.
The room with the king bed was comfortable place in a centrally located area of Kauai to Kapaa, North Shore, and South Shore. Michelle and Serafin have a very spacious home, so we spent most of the time in the house in the living room chatting with the fellow Airbnbers or Michelle and Serafin, or hanging out on the patio enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain range (great spot for breakfast).
You can’t go wrong with stay at Michelle and Serafin’s place!
