About this listing
I apologize but due to the drastic drought in Ca, we have been restricted on water to lawns. It is unfortunately brown because of this and I am trying my hardest to lay pavers and bricks as I can. Appreciate your understanding
Experience camping with style in a 23' nice, clean and fresh little RV. Sits on my property in the front next to Pier Ave w/ free street parking on Norswing or Pier Ave. Inside you have a full air mattress. Also a couch for sleeping. An RV stove, microwave, refrigerator and sink. Bathroom with an RV shower. Remember this is an RV so TP and feminine products need to be disposed of in the trash and not the toilet bowl. Plenty of extra bags and the trash can be thrown outside in the driveway trash can. The RV is supplied with a coffee pot, dishes, bowls, coffee cups and glassware. Silverware, cooking utensils, TV with local antenna channels, blanket's, towels and soap. Can accommodate 2 people comfortably but remember its camping style so with more people the tighter the space gets.
My property is a few blocks away from one of the only two beach entrance's. Extra traffic on weekends and tourist time.
The only beach in California that you are allowed to drive your car onto. It is relaxing in the evening, as well as romantic to light a bon fire and sit back and listen to the spectacular ocean waves. You may request to use the entrance pass, as well as a few comfy papasian chairs that you can take down to the beach with you. I suggest that you use the pass since this will save you about 6 dollars each day you enter the beach.
I am also located very close to the Oceano Dunes and just a few miles from the Pismo Pier area. Down the street you can rent ATV's or a Hummer ride and leave the driving to them. Across the street is a local public bus stop for area transportation. Just a short walk from my home is the Rock n Roll Diner, which allows you to dine in a train car. There is also Beach Burger and Old Juan's Cantina, which has a reasonable Sunday champagne brunch.
Points of interest: Oceano Beach, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Avila Beach....and ummm the NUDE Beach....as well as being centrally located between San Francisco and Los Angeles. There also is the famous Hearst Castle, San Luis Obispo (aka the happiest place in America), SL Port Harbor, The Arroya Grande Village, Lopez Lake, wonderful wineries, farmers markets, The Oceano Melodrama, horseback riding, wind surfing, skydiving, surfing, kayaking, biking, hiking...not to mention TONS OF BEAUTY. Visit The Five Cities and be amazed. You can have the nightlife or choose a total solitude retreat and just chill. I am very happy to help out with any information or plans to where you may want to go.
I will end with a thank you...I THANK YOU for considering me to be your host.
ENJOY wherever your travel and stays may take you!!!
Neighbors across the street, lagoon kiddy corner from the property, park nearby, ocean 2 blocks away.
No inside smoking, pets or parties allowed. Only guests on booking will be allowed.
Must be at least 18 years old to book a room.
Please be respectful of other guests that are on the property.
The County of SLO charges a 12% Transient Occupancy Tax, which I am required to collect from you and give you a receipt. PLEASE have it ready when you arrive. Thank you!!!
This is an RV so PLEASE NO flushing of any paper or female pads, etc. Thank you!!!
I loved this place, with Pismo right at the bottom of the street, it's also central and an easy drive to all the stuff Anna lists. And she was lovely. I thought I might be early and she was game to help out, she responded immediately to a small concern and was very helpful in letting me know what there was to see and do, where to eat and the parts of the area that she thought would appeal to me & she was right :-)). The place is as described and absolutely big enough and comfy for me and was just what I wanted. Had a great time, and would happily go back. If you're up for a stay in a campervan I can absolutely recommend this one.
Anna was very responsive to questions I had before my visit. She to texts via AirBNB very quickly, so I felt welcomed, and that she had the place ready for me. When I arrived, she welcomed me in person and I'm very grateful for her hospitality as this is my first AirBNB reservation. She is a really nice person, who really wants to make your stay a positive experience. She was available the one or two times I texted her while I was there (3 nights), but was also very conscious of giving me my privacy, which I appreciate. She told me about local places to eat and shop (when I asked) and offered a pass to drive on the beach for free. I couldn't have had a better host. The RV was neat and clean. The bed very comfortable, with lots of nice pillows (I have back issues, so the bed really matters to me). I felt very safe in the area.
Staying at Annas was great! It was our first bnb and we were really nervous about the whole experience. Anna was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home! At the end of our weekend stay, we didn't want to leave. My friend and I stayed out here for a wedding and the RV was perfect for us two girls. We were able to get ready for the evenings and events and slept very comfortably. The description and pictures were spot on and we loved the location. Anna was even nice enough to lend us her beach pass and beach chairs to drive out there! I wouldn't recommend more than two people though as it is cozy. We will definitely be staying with Anna again!
Anna was a great host! I stayed in one of her campers for 8 weeks on a travel nursing assignment. It was in the perfect location! The Oceano dunes right down the street and Pismo beach a couple miles away. Anna was so quick to respond to any questions and was available 24/7 for any questions or concerns. I even had to text her once or twice pretty late for tripping the circuit breaker and she was quick to get everything going again. I would only recommend for 2 people at the most because the space was pretty cozy but perfect for just me. The camper had all the appliances you would need for a long term stay and also had access to washer and dryer. Overall great experience!
Cozy trailer in a perfect location. Anna is a superfriendly person and gave us amazing tips for our time in pismo. It was just great. Thank you so much.
Anna was awesome and the camper was exactly as described. The area is really cool and right up the street up from some really cool dunes.
Anna Mello made me feel welcome by being up late at night, offering me tea and coffee and showing me around her place. The description of the RV is accurate and easy to find. Her place is close to a park and within walking distance of the beach.

About the Host, Anna M
I was born in 1963 and come from a large family. My greatest gifts and accomplishments are my 3 grown children and my 3 grandchildren, who are adorable inside and out, but what grandparent thinks not the same. I love art and unique, different items. I really like to refurbish and reuse, finding treasures which most of my home has been decorated by. I believe in my duty of recycling and composting and that brings me to my love of gardening. I am very eco friendly and dislike waste. I find all kinds of people interesting and like to learn about the area that they are from. My passion is for the love of travel, and that is where I find so much fulfillment. I have always enjoyed cooking and like to taste different foods, but I truly prefer the organic vegetarian lifestyle. I have owned 2 different restaurants and for over 7 years have had a small retail Hemp store here in Pismo Beach. In my free time I put together vacation packages. Most importantly I believe in God and believe in sweet love. I find the ocean here mesmerizing and therapeutic. I enjoy good laughter and sometimes tend to be silly. I like to live in peace and try to live a simple life which is hard to accomplish at times. I have placed my home to rent on airbnb, mainly to share it with you and secondly to help with the much needed upkeep of this historic Mayan home.
I'll end my description with this:
If we could all forgive I believe all the hate in the world would be gone.
