Interaction with Guests
This is a home to rent . IF you need help, you may call me. I am available by phone.
This is a quiet, safe neighborhood. It is close to everything you could want, and just blocks from Bell Rock, my favorite place to hike. Cucina Rustica is just blocks away, and this is the best restaurant in town. Outlet store a few blocks walk away, and lots of shopping. The Village is very user friendly and great golf courses abound.
The only transportation is cars and bicycles which can be rented just blocks away. Most everything is in walking distance. To get to West Sedona, there is a trolley.
No smoking of any kind inside the house.
Please remove shoes at door due to red dust that gets all over.
Unplug electrical appliances and turn off lights before you leave on your last day.
Alisa was great! She was always a phone call away, and offered recommendations that only a local would know.
The best way for me to describe our stay at our host Alisa's home is - well, I felt like I was at home!!! The house was amazing, clean, organized, there wasn't one thing I could think of that she could have done better or provided. Plenty of everything from pots and pans, to dishes, plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, TP, the back patio was wonderful to relax with morning coffee or meal and evenings too as well as the lovely front porch with super comfy furniture if you just wanna chill away from the sun. We stayed in touch periodically, not that we had too, but just because I felt a bond and closeness with her and wanted to occasionally let her know how much we were enjoying everything. I would definitely book my next visit to Sedona at Alisa's home, being in the Village of Oak Creek was perfection, there was even a small art fair in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center we walked to and thoroughly enjoyed...so much in walking distance staying there. Thanks Alisa, for opening your home to us...it was unforgettable!!! xo :)
This was a nice house in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and felt at home.
Just wanted to respond to your indication about the carpets. The carpets were professionally cleaned three days before you arrived while I was still in the house, and then vacuumed by my cleaning woman before you arrived. I wonder why it did not seem to you that the carpets were vacuumed. Either way, I am glad you enjoyed the house and Sedona.
We had a wonderful week in Sedona and this property was perfect. Really well equipped, immaculately clean and very well located. Close to Bell Rock and Red Rock Canyon. Only a ten minute ride to the heart of Sedona and close to some great restaurants like Cuchina Rustica and Red Rock BBQ.
Alisa is a superb host. Even without being there, her hospitality was superior. Communication was excellent and she gave us a list of excellent restaurant and attraction recommendations. We were in Sedona for a meditation and hiking experience and this property totally fit the bill. Five stars, A+, 10/10.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alisa's home. It was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Alisa clearly takes pride in providing a great place for visitors and made sure all was well when we arrived. The house has a great kitchen area and there are porches located front and back. We enjoyed sitting out back in the mornings enjoying our coffee and taking in the sun. The house is located walking distance from Oak Creek and there are several great restaurants close by. Alisa -- Thanks for helping us with this last minute reservations!

About the Host, Alisa
I am a professional artist and psychotherapist from California. I am a sculptor andI love to carve marble in Italy. I speak Spanish and Italian, and love to travel to Europe, South America, and adventure destinations. I love art, theater, standard poodles, classical music, reading and meeting people from around the world.
I love to dance salsa and even a little tango. Want to join me?
I enjoy international cuisine, especially sushi and authentic Spanish food. I am considered the salad queen for my inventive salads, though I am told I am a very good cook, and let's face it, that is another aspect of this creative life.
I love foreign films the most, though I have to admit that some of my favorite films are still those by Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally) and Mel Brooks and Woody Allen. Great Comedy or complex memoires are a must. I will share a few of my favorite jokes with you....joke telling runs in the family for generations.
I love hosting guests from across the globe. Your stay will be fun and enlightening. Sometimes I even demonstrate how I carve in stone, and will give you a personal tour of the art. Often available for good conversation and am always interested in you and what you do.. I will point you in the right direction about what to see in this area.
