  • This is a lovely place, located in the Village of Oak Creek, which is part of the larger Sedona area. It is a short (~10 minute) drive from the heart of Sedona, which is nice as it is more calm in the Village, yet close enough to everything.

It is very close to Bell Rock, which we found to be incredibly beautiful and powerful. And the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

The house has nice amenities, from the fireplace, to TV, to even a juicer. The bed was comfy, the shower powerful, and there were nice places to sit outside on both sides of the house.

Alisa communicated very well, and ensured we had what we needed during our stay.

    Response from Alisa:

Brad I tried to add about Jen in my review but it would not add it. So I will call Airbnb this week and see how I can attach my gratitude for Jen . Hope you are continuing to have a great time on your travels.

  • We had 7 wonderful days in Alisa's house. The first three days we rented bicycles and rode to different places where we could hike which was a new experience for us. And later in the week we took the car to go to Sedona and West Fork Canyon. The environment around Alisa's house is amazingly beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We had breakfasts on the porch with mountain view and dinners in the cozy living room. We had a very good stay. Thank you Alisa.

  • Thinking of staying in Sedona? If so, stay at Alisa Blatt's artist's home situated just minutes from great restaurants, shopping, and those spectacular red rocks Sedona is famous for. Her home is well appointed with your every need considered. Alisa's fabulous sculptures are prominent throughout the house and add to the ambiance. We loved every minute of our stay.

I am a professional artist and psychotherapist from California. I am a sculptor andI love to carve marble in Italy. I speak Spanish and Italian, and love to travel to Europe, South America, and adventure destinations. I love art, theater, standard poodles, classical music, reading and meeting people from around the world. I love to dance salsa and even a little tango. Want to join me? I enjoy international cuisine, especially sushi and authentic Spanish food. I am considered the salad queen for my inventive salads, though I am told I am a very good cook, and let's face it, that is another aspect of this creative life. I love foreign films the most, though I have to admit that some of my favorite films are still those by Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally) and Mel Brooks and Woody Allen. Great Comedy or complex memoires are a must. I will share a few of my favorite jokes with you....joke telling runs in the family for generations. I love hosting guests from across the globe. Your stay will be fun and enlightening. Sometimes I even demonstrate how I carve in stone, and will give you a personal tour of the art. Often available for good conversation and am always interested in you and what you do.. I will point you in the right direction about what to see in this area.
