Interaction with Guests
This is a home to rent . IF you need help, you may call me. I am available by phone.
This is a quiet, safe neighborhood. It is close to everything you could want, and just blocks from Bell Rock, my favorite place to hike. Cucina Rustica is just blocks away, and this is the best restaurant in town. Outlet store a few blocks walk away, and lots of shopping. The Village is very user friendly and great golf courses abound.
The only transportation is cars and bicycles which can be rented just blocks away. Most everything is in walking distance. To get to West Sedona, there is a trolley.
No smoking of any kind inside the house.
Please remove shoes at door due to red dust that gets all over.
Unplug electrical appliances and turn off lights before you leave on your last day.
Alisa was very accessible and saw to it that I had all I needed. She even left a little gifts of useful items which came in handy. Her home is very well designed and very clean. It has everything you need to cook, and do laundry and in general have a home away from home. Being surrounded by Alisa's artwork was a bonus, and enriches the space. The location is in Oak Creek, a short scenic drive to Sedona. I felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay again in the future and cannot wait to go back.
Alisa was very gracious in offering us any information we needed about her house and Sedona. The location is good if you are fine not being near the center of Sedona.
I loved, loved, LOVED, my stay at Alisa's home. It was just as described in the pictures. It feels fresh and airy and I was just thrilled with the huge kitchen, living area, the water pressure in the shower and specially the front porch, where I spent long hours sitting in the warm sun. Alisa is very accommodating and goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. I loved Sedona too, so I'm very likely to head that way again and I'll be looking forward to staying in the same place, where I was very comfortable and very happy.
I traveled on my own and although I didn't really need so much space it was really nice to have it.
Her art is beautiful too, it's just a shame that I don't have room in my apartment to have one of her pieces.
Alisa was very informative about all the great features of her home and very easy to get into contact with. It was such a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything as promised and even more. Overall amazing! If I ever find my way back to the Sedona area, I am definitely staying here again.
The listing was accurate. In fact, I think there was more space than we expected at Alisa's house. She was a very good hostess and went to extra effort to see to our comfort. She had some great ideas for activities in Sedona (happy hour at the Enchantments should definitely not be missed!). The house was comfortable, and it was so nice to stay in the middle of such lovely art. Alisa was approachable and available. The house is conveniently located in a suburb of Sedona and while not walking distance to the city of Sedona itself is certainly within an easy walk of coffee/breakfast/groceries as well as some nice eateries. The house was impeccably clean, and quite comfortable.
This was an absolutely lovely home filled with art, comfortable and well furnished. I can't think of a thing it was lacking. The short drive to downtown Sedona was gorgeous and delightful, and it was nice to stay in a quiet residential area that was very safe and peaceful.
Alisa furnished lots of information, included many great restaurants, and places to visit. She was in touch immediately and was very helpful with directions.
I would definitely choose to stay here again, and my only regret is that I had only the short time to stay on this trip. I will definitely be back to Sedona and hopefully Alisa's home will be available at that time. She was not in town, but was still the perfect hostess!
After I booked Alisa's home she was in touch immediately and made me feel so comfortable about my decision. You really have to experience this place because it will feel like your "home away from home" with everything you can think of. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, blend smoothies or even juice (yes the kitchen has a juicer). This wonderful neighborhood was very quiet and serene yet only minutes from shopping and wonderful restaurants. With balconies in the front and rear of the home, I was able to enjoy my morning coffee watching the sun rise and listening to the birds then in the evening watching the sunset with my glass of wine. I honestly can't wait to go back! Thank you Alisa for being such a gracious host and all the recommendations of where to hike, etc. and of course your favorite restaurant which I ate dinner at three times!!

I am a professional artist and psychotherapist from California. I am a sculptor andI love to carve marble in Italy. I speak Spanish and Italian, and love to travel to Europe, South America, and adventure destinations. I love art, theater, standard poodles, classical music, reading and meeting people from around the world.
I love to dance salsa and even a little tango. Want to join me?
I enjoy international cuisine, especially sushi and authentic Spanish food. I am considered the salad queen for my inventive salads, though I am told I am a very good cook, and let's face it, that is another aspect of this creative life.
I love foreign films the most, though I have to admit that some of my favorite films are still those by Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally) and Mel Brooks and Woody Allen. Great Comedy or complex memoires are a must. I will share a few of my favorite jokes with you....joke telling runs in the family for generations.
I love hosting guests from across the globe. Your stay will be fun and enlightening. Sometimes I even demonstrate how I carve in stone, and will give you a personal tour of the art. Often available for good conversation and am always interested in you and what you do.. I will point you in the right direction about what to see in this area.
