Misty View Cabin is a two-story, authentic log cabin crafted entirely of wood inside and out, offering breathtaking views in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, NC.

The cabin features a master bedroom with a private Jacuzzi and shower, plus two additional cozy bedrooms—perfect for families of up to 6, or small groups. Conveniently located a short drive from downtown Waynesville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Asheville.

Misty View Cabin is the perfect escape for the ultimate "cabin in the mountains" experience. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be captivated by the stunning views and the peaceful serenity that surrounds you. Relax on the deck and feel the world melt away.

Looking for romance? You’ve found it. Evenings are especially magical—bring a bottle of wine, light the small fire pit on the deck, and take in the breathtaking mountain views under the stars.

The master bathroom features a heated Jacuzzi tub with whirlpool jets for a luxurious soak. Planning a group getaway? The cabin comfortably accommodates up to six adults, offering plenty of space to relax and reconnect.

Outdoor dining is a breeze with a large charcoal grill and ample seating across two spacious decks. Gather around the fire pit in the yard for campfires, laughter, and late-night s’mores.

And if you need a little connection to the outside world, the cabin is equipped with WiFi and cable HDTV, —so you can stay as plugged in (or unplugged) as you like.

Access to the cabin is easy and clearly marked on all major navigation apps. Located in Waynesville, NC—just 30 minutes west of Asheville—the cabin offers convenient travel without the hassle.

There’s ample parking available, t he gravel driveway provides excellent traction, making it a reliable surface for vehicles in all weather conditions, especially on inclines.

Other things to note
Experience a great staying at Misty View Cabin by enjoying the incredible view day and night of Mount Lowry. During clear nights the lit cross atop Mt. Lowry is clearly visible as we are at an altitude of about 3,200 Ft.
Enjoy the incredible view of stars from our backyard during clear nights or share with friends roasted marshmallows while sitting around our in ground built Native American fire pit. As an alternate sit along the front porch with a glass of wine and turn on our other smaller fire pit and let the view of the fire and the night engulf you with a sense of peacefulness and love for nature.

My residence is in Miami Beach but the nature and the peacefulness of the Smoky Mountains is what attracts me the most. I aquired his cabin a while back when I discovered this area and fell in love with it. I enjoy yoga on the second floor deck during sunrise while looking into Mt. Lowry at the distance. During mornings, I enjoy sipping coffee while swinging in the hanging chair in the front porch with the view of the mountains.
