This place is in a great location near montrose, close to bars and restaurants and so much else. The bedrooms are nice and big and the living area is great for hanging out. I will definitely seek out this place if I need one in the area again. The price point was exceptional for the house. Pearson was very nice and thorough, but stayed out of the way after check-in. Overall great experience.

Amazing place. In the middle of everything. Pearson was there to meet us and was a perfect guest. Highly recommended

Great place to stay IF: you don't mind the top outlets not working throughout the home, the general smell of musty/mold, no visible smoke detectors, floss picks on the floor, popsicle sticks on the floor, moldy bread under the bed and a garage door that's sensors don't work appropriately. If you don't mind these things then this is a great place to stay! If you are concerned by any of these things...fair warning this place had all the above. Great location but that's about all I can say. The good news is the garage door is brand new because we paid to replace it after it closed on our car.

Response from Pearson:
Nora's complaints about my house are fictional and stem from an incident involving my garage door which I will describe below. I have over 200 reviews and you will see that they are overwhelmingly positive. I have had many repeat guests. Having hosted hundreds of guests over a period of several years, I had never had a dispute over money or damage to my house until Nora. A month before Nora stayed at my place, I had a new garage door installed. Nora or her friend damaged the garage door with a car and this had nothing to do with the garage door sensors; the damage was to the top section of the garage door not the bottom. Nora writes that she paid to have the garage door replaced. This is incorrect. I did not have to replace the entire garage door, but one section had to be replaced. The repair bill was $410. Nora got mad and claimed that was too much. Though I had absolutely no obligation to pay any part of it, I paid $85 of the bill so that she would have to pay only $325 instead of the full $410. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. There is no musty/mold smell. I have the carpet vacuumed and the wood and marble floors mopped after every visit. There is a smoke detector on the second floor and a smoke detector on the third floor, both of which are visible. The garage door sensors work fine. I don't believe the stories about floss sticks, popsicle sticks or moldy bread. I work hard to give my guests a good stay which is reflected in the vast majority of my reviews. Pearson

Centrally located. However, one of the bedrooms was quite dusty as it had a lot of stacked books and magazines. The general smell of the place upon entry is musty and not very clean.

All hosts should communicate as well as Pearson as far as making reservations, access to the property, responsiveness and flexibility. The home needs some love. The inside is well worn and needs updating, repairs of kitchen/bathroom/lighting/smoke detector fixtures & window coverings, paint and carpet. The garage is not accessible for parking, and if your vehicle doesn't fit between the garage and the sidewalk, you can get a ticket. Pearson says he will pay the ticket. You can also park on the street. The location is awesome. It is within walking distance to great restaurants and parks.

From Houston, Texas. I like to read, ride my bike and play tennis.
