This place is truly stunning! Such a beautiful location and I don't think I could ever get bored of the view.
The house is bright and airy. The rooms are spacious. The furniture is good quality. There were plenty of toys to keep our 3 year old entertained as well.
I really, really recommend staying in Carol's lovely house although I definitely want to return so please don't book it up too much!
What can I say? Carol's house is perfection! We had an amazing long weekend here. The house is beautiful, cosy and very clean. We enjoyed cooking in the bright kitchen, eating on the terrace, and got a lot better at table tennis ;) Plus - stunning Gurteen bay is less than an hours drive away. Thank you Carol! Can't wait to come back!
Carol was really helpful prior to our stay so we arrived really looking forward to our holiday. The house exceeded our expectations. A privilege to stay in a property designed and built by an architect, the views from every part of the house are breathtaking. The property is ecologically sounds and we were greatful for the echo underfloor heating on some rather cool days!. Everything we could possibly need was provided and it was spotlessly clean. There are no other properties near, just a clear view across mountains and lakes. Eat out at Powers (the thatched pub) in Oughterad for excellent food atmosphere and service.
The description was very accurate. The views were stunning and the house was everything it was advertised. The house was comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. We were looking for a base from which to explore the West of Ireland and this place was perfect. We had great walks and enjoyed the location; outside of town but not hours away from shopping etc. We enjoyed the sheep and horses who were our closest neighbors. A trip to remember and to recommend!
Fantastic views and a very relaxing place to stay at. It's a place that is still a work-in progress but everything is as it looks on the advertisement, the self check in was simple and efficient and considering the size of the house, it is fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Carol a continué à aménager l'ensemble.
