Carols house is amazing with lots of nice details. It's also located very beautiful, remote, and calm, within hills and sheep pastures with view to the distant lake. It's nice as a starting point for hiking but i guess it would be difficult to reach it without a car.
There is still some unfinished construction work in some parts of the house, but it was not a problem at all.
The nearest town is a nice and small fishing village with some shops and pubs and was also worth some visits.
Parfait ! Tout simplement parfait !
An amazing house in an amazing landscape !

Amazing house and excellent communication from Carol. We had a really good time.
This is a listing that truly lives up to its name: the vistas are gorgeous, and the house is warm, full of beautiful light, and an amazing place to relax. We appreciated the stock of firewood & peat, which made for cozy nights playing Scrabble by the fire while the winds & rains lashed outside. The rooms are cozy, bathrooms modern, and the well-appointed kitchen meant making dinners were a breeze. Certainly wish we could've stayed for a few more days!
The house was beautiful and spacious. It is an ideal retreat to have a peaceful rest in the gorgeous country side of Connemara. Good location to have days out and explore the area.
It was perfectly equiped for our 20 months old baby (high chair, toys, real bed).
The sheep are coming everyday near the house which gives an authentic touch to the sceneries.
We had a very pleasant stay!
