A most beautiful place for a timeout with spectacularly unspoilt view to a lake, mountains, green hills dotted with an abundance of sheeps - and last not least a charming donkey. Thank you Carol, we defintely felt at home at your place!

A very spacious home in stunning, secluded surroundings. We loved the nearby village (there's a great store stocking local produce that does amazing bread in particular). The views from the property are breathtaking. We had a lovely time & really enjoyed the fire & a game of scrabble in the evening!

Beautiful area and beautifully designed House very comfortable and open enjoyed it immensely

This is a large home in Connemara well suited for families or couples traveling together. Spacious, clean and secluded. If you want to get away from it all, this is a winner!

The Carol house is a wonderful architectural creation: mix of typical house of connemara and Galway boats hooker. The location is great if you want to relax and be quiet. Big spaces, pingpong table for fun. We spend wonderful evening in Oughterard ( 15min by car) listening Irish music. The kitchen and floors were a bit dirt but we can understand when you are in countryside with a fire hood.

I was born in Galway and have been living in England for the last fourteen years. I still long to return to Ireland but until that day arrives I am sharing my home so that others can enjoy it!
