Set in gorgeous countryside overlooking Lough Corrib and the Connemara mountains, our modern eco house has all the contemporary features you could want! Just 15 mins from Oughterard, if you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect retreat.
A new home designed by myself and my husband to take advantage of the gorgeous views. There is underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove in the living room with plenty of firewood provided.
Large rustic garden with stream (children must be supervised while in the garden).
Bedroom 1 - one double bed.
Bedroom 2 - one double and one single bed and a cot.
One bathroom and one ensuite shower room off bedroom 1.

Large kitchen/dining room with island unit and full height windows to views of Connemara. Stereo with Ipod dock.
Sunspace with table tennis table and with folding doors onto decked patio.
Utility room with washing machine and dryer.
Interaction with Guests
I will try to have a member of my family meet you but there maybe times when this is not possible. You will be able to call me with any queries.
Glann is located on the shores of Lough Corrib. The location is fantastic for fishing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing and exploring all Connemara has to offer.
The Western Way walk passes close by our house.
The Derroura Mountain Bike Trail provides amazing mountain biking and spectacular views of Connemara.
A car is required as the house is located 8km from Oughterard and you will want to explore everything on offer in the area.

Please ask for special rate if staying with children as we don't charge full price for additional guests!
Bed linen and towels
Cot, high chair and a variety of toys.
Additional travel cot if required.
I understand that accidents happen but if you damage something please be honest and let me know so that it can be replaced if necessary for the next guest. Don't worry about plates or drinking glasses as there are more than one, but please let me know about furniture as it is not good to sleep in a broken bed for example!
