  • Our family really liked the cottage. It was a great setting and we wish we could have stayed longer. It wasn't far to Edinburgh and lots of towns were closely with stores, restaurants, etc. There was plenty of room for the six of us and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great as well and had everything we needed for cooking meals at home. I would heartily recommend the place.

  • This is a lovely, peaceful cottage set within acres of woodland, right on the doorstep, ideal for playing, exploring or walking in. The house has been renovated recently and has everything you might need for a short break. The facilities are excellent, and the whole house feels cosy, comfortable and welcoming. The wood burning stove keeps the house warm and is a lovely central point to congregate around with a glass of wine in the evening. This would be a great spot for families or groups of friends looking for a country bolt hole, a fishing spot or a base from which to explore the Borders. We will certainly visit again.
