The winter is a gorgeous time to stay at my home and Holiday Mountain skiing is only 15 minutes away. There is a cozy gas fireplace in the downstairs suite and central heating throughout. Sitting at the kitchen table looking at the pond, perhaps seeing the muskrats play and the deer passing by is a winter treat.
I'm happy to answer your questions and figure out how to make your visit a delightful retreat.
Sabrina's house has a warm and rustic vibe to it. Our favorite thing to do was to sit out on the deck overlooking her pond with a cold beer. It's secluded but close enough to shops and a few restaurants. Nice walking tracks around there as well.
Just as described with access and clear usage requests to some of the home's best amenities. A cozy escape, magical is really the right word for Sabrina's home and she, herself, made the stay all the more enjoyable with a warm welcome and open communication.
My family and my pup had a wonderful stay at Sabrina's house over Memorial weekend! We loved the location of the house, off the grid, tucked away in the woods with a pond right outside. The main floor is a great place to gather, the master bedroom is upstairs and there are 2 more bedrooms downstairs. There are also 3 full bathrooms, which was awesome. The stairs are a bit steep, but the downstairs has a private door to the exterior, so it was great to have an easy access. Sabrina keeps her place very clean and well prepared for guests as well as checked in to see if we needed anything. I had the pleasure of meeting her and she is honest, kind and thoughtful. My dad said it was the best Memorial Weekend he can remember. We can't wait to return to escape city life again! Thanks Sabrina!!!
Sabrina's home in Liberty was absolutely phenomenal. The pictures truly don't do justice for just how gorgeous both the house and property alike are. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, relaxing on the multiple porches, and starting our day with coffee reflecting over the view of the pond. The sound of the water can be gently heard pretty much throughout the house and it was a lovely way to accentuate the already relaxing getaway. Sabrina also did a wonderful job compiling a comprehensive list of information on the area as well as instructions for the stay. We are already planning on returning. Highly recommended.
Sabrina was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful, scenic, and well stocked with essentials like TP & paper towels. It worked very well for an adult family of 5- we had separate spaces to retreat to and could come together as well. The setting and scenery couldn't be beat. The sound of the water throughout the house was amazing, and we really enjoyed relaxing indoors and out. Mid century furniture was a nice touch.
Our weekend at Sabrina's home truly was a magical Catskills retreat! We were celebrating a Holiday weekend & our dog's Birthday (yes dog Birthday) & she did everything to make sure we had the perfect weekend from beginning to end. She gave us perfect directions to the house & ample instructions on everything before we arrived as well as answering all our questions promptly.
The house is nestled in the most beautiful setting & it's such a perfect escape from the city. We had 2 couples and a small dog & it was more than enough space. Because of the layout of the house it gave us each our space on separate floors and the spacious common area to all hang out in. The house is surrounded by water on all sides & we literally fell asleep to the sound of the waterfall.
She gave us tons of info on the town & we explored all the places she said including the delicious Arnold House restaurant. The winter weather was still in full swing so we couldn't fly fish but Sabrina suggested mutliple people we could fish with when the weather was warm enough & we ended up at a market she suggested & got some amazing local trout after visiting the fly fishing museum.
The property itself is huge and we did some exploring the grounds while deer ran by & ducks hung out in the pond. We had a day of snow but there was nowhere more beautiful to watch it come down then outside the kitchen window overlooking the pond.
Sabrina was truly a fantastic host & not only did she make us humans feel truly relaxed and at home she even left some Birthday treasts for our dog! We look forward to coming back in the warmer months to catch our own fish & experience more Catskills magic.
Sabrina was a great host. I was coordinating a visit with six of my friends on a snowy weekend, and she was patient with us and gave us all of the information we needed. Her house is beautiful inside and out, and it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
