It is a beautiful place, even with the minimum amenities ( and I would call it a value addition if you really want to experience the place and its life style) it was extremely comfortable. If you are looking for a luxury vacation, this place is not meant for you but if you are lo…

Our stay in Nongrai's beautiful home will remain with us for a long time. The house is simple and constructed from bamboo with two rooms that have a private entry and three smaller rooms that are interconnected. That's a lot of space for guests. In fact, it almost felt unfair tha…

My husband and myself saw the property and decided not to stay here even thought we had already paid for it. The listing says that there is a shared/common bathroom. But what it does not say is that to reach the bathroom, you have to pass through other people's bedrooms. All room…

Response from Sachin:
Kavya, From your review, i could see that it was not place for you to stay. Though, before booking i explained you about the place and kept option open to book or opt any other option. Also there are enough reviews and listing details of homestay explains the things about the place First thing is that, if you have not stayed then you should have called me and informed me and should have cancelled your booking either on Airbnb site or by calling them. As you have not stayed at all, there is no point even writing the review. Its truly strange, that you booked this place, though your expectations of place like guesthouse or hotels, and before booking and all idea was given. By this response ,Once again I would like to say that this is place for those who want to experience stay at typical Authentic khasi local house and like to mix or interact with khasi family. Place is for those explorers who really value culture and locals and want to experience it and NOT for those who have nothing to do with it , but need more comfort and interior like tourist guesthouse or hotels. Please do not book only because its less priced. Get know about the place precisely, think about it if its really of your choice and then only book it. We have really taken quiet good efforts to bring up such stay options for travelers, by facing certain barriers. And its ongoing efforts to manage bookings. On such background, Such review put by short thinking or without giving any thought are truly discouraging for us.

The accommodation is basic and has a few flaws 1 the restroom entry is through some one else's bedroom hence it becomes a bit akward at night if the house is on full capacity 2 the house has been divided in four bedrooms by a very thin wall and that also doesn't touch the ceili…
