The space

Celeste is tastefully furnished with all the comfort and quality you would expect from a luxury studio this close to everything. The location is so central to all of Melbourne’s hallmark areas including Fitzroy, Carlton, St. Kilda, Richmond and South Yarra and the best part is you don’t have to be in the centre of the busy CBD. Nested on a leafy street with your own balcony looking out toward the village courtyards of East Melbourne and the gardens.
You will never have to worry about a heat wave or cold snap (something Melbourne is famous for) with full climate control at your fingertips and escaping the weather with the comfortable furnishings that Celeste boasts could not be more enjoyable!

There is a deluxe queen-sized bed and accompanying mirror plated side tables with drawers for storing your possessions. Beautiful artworks, rugs and prints collected from travels around the world and a custom made sofa bed that folds out to easily provide space for two individual guests. A small vintage table with old sheets of music laminated into its top is perfect for a coffee or bite to eat while you flip through the comprehensive city guide complete with recommendations and experiences of other guests.
An Italian designed TV is mounted to the wall in the living space, which can be repositioned to suit viewing from either the bed or the sofa. The kitchenette provides all the amenities for a short stay in Melbourne including kettle, fridge/ freezer, microwave oven, stove and toaster. In the comfortable sized bathroom, you’ll find a brand new washer-dryer for longer stays, a hair dryer and heated towel rail.

The neighborhood

East Melbourne is one of Melbourne's most desirable residential locations. It is on the fringe of the city with lots of lovely parks, tree lined streets and within a lovely courtyard village. You have nearby a convenience store, post-office, cafe at your doorstep, chemist, laundry/dry-cleaners should you not want to go into the city centre. Fitzroy Gardens are the most beautiful in all of Melbourne and are just a 5 minute walk from the apartment!

Getting around

There is so much excellent public transport located nearby. The building is very close to Flinders Street station, Jolimont and Parliament train stations. It is also just a short walk to several tram lines including the free city circle tram. Bicycle share bikes are on the same street as are carshare (hourly rental) GoGet vehicles.

Other things to note

There is also a portacot if you are bringing your child, hair-dryer, high quality bedding, linen, towels and an ironing board and iron available in the apartment available at your convenience.

Note that a smoker has moved into nearby the apartment and the hallway by the door of the apartment may smell of cigarette smoke.

For other matters, phone us. 
- It is your responsibility to lock the apartment when you are not inside and to turn off the fans, lights, heaters and TV. Plus, saving the environment makes you cool. 
- We do not accept responsibility for loss of property. If you realise you have left something in the apartment after check-out please phone us and we can arrange to have it returned to you.

Fantastic location with walking access to CBD, MCG and Tennis centre. Very quiet despite being close to train lines. Apartment is clean and well set up for a cosy stay. Leave a little extra time to pick up key from opposite end of CBD , but free teams make this pretty easy.
