Our stay Ingrid and Robert's lovely home was incredible. I WOULD GIVE THEN SOX STARS IF I COULD! They are very compassionate hosts who really want to make you feel at home. The location could not have been better, right in between Manitou spring and Pikes Peak. The area is absolutely beautiful and my friend and I started off our road trip in a good foot to say the least. I high recommend their place to anyone of any age, families included.
The mountain retreat hosted by Ingrid and Robert was an oasis nestled in the mountains. They both greeted us when we drove in and were warm and welcoming to us. After a short walk thru of our cozy living area, we were also shown the other amenities that they offered. A hot tub and beautiful deck area were ours to use and enjoy during out stay and we were encouraged to take advantage of all the space. There were flowers everywhere and a beautiful lawn to relax and walk. We both enjoyed our "too short" stay and would stay with Ingrid and Robert again anytime. Thank you both!

From moment one Robert and Ingrid made us feel at home. They were open and welcoming and we felt right at home staying with them. It seemed like everyday we were there we found some other little amenity they had there for our use. Leaving was very sad, it was almost like leaving a favorite relatives house.
We had a fantastic time at Ingrid's Mountain Retreat! We loved the privacy and separation of the living space! The hot tub was spectacular with spectacular views but with excellent privacy! (The robes and towel warmers were a surprising bonus!) Ingrid is a lovely host and we felt incredibly comfortable! The "back yard" is beautiful, and the hammock swing was a particular hit with our 10 year old daughter! Since we live in the state we are thinking of making a visit every year!
Our stay at Mountain Retreat was a highlight of our trip. The accommodations were better than expected and very close to many attractions in the area. Hosts Ingrid and Robert have taken a page from the Ritz when it comes to hospitality - no detail is overlooked. The home is clean, spacious and private. The hosts are friendly but respectful of privacy. We arrived later than expected but they were waiting up for us and greeted us as warmly as family. Breakfast & snack items were thoughtfully stocked. We were on a tight tourist time schedule and had only limited time in the area, we only wish we had more time to spend at the house to relax and enjoy the serenity. This is the ideal Airbnb experience, a stay by which all future bookings will be compared! I can't say enough what was a true pleasure it was to meet Ingrid and Robert and stay at their home, we hope to return one day.
-- The location of Ingrid and Robert's Mountain Retreat was perfect for me but that is not why I my wife and I loved our stay with them.
-- As hosts, they are warm and gracious and they take obvious joy in the satisfaction of their guests. Their put their hearts are into everything they do in and around the Mountain Retreat and it shows.
--They were astute in leaving us to ourselves when privacy was desired and were delightful conversationalists when we were so inclined .
-- In addition their warmth, Robert and Ingrid are detail oriented. I am hard-pressed to imagine anything that was left out of the accommodations. The welcome bottle of wine, breakfast supplies ready for our first morning, maps, resource materials for local sightseeing and the list goes on - preparation of the Mountain retreat was incredibly complete for our stay in all ways.
-- Wonderful hosts, terrific place. They have my highest ( and warmest) recommendation.
Ingrid and Robert met us when we arrived. They went above and beyond with the amenities and with making us feel welcome. They were very helpful with things to see and do. The Mountain Retreat apartment was lovely and spacious. We couldn't have asked for a single thing more. Thank you!!
