  • Stayed here for a few night visiting godalming and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Steve and Julie were so welcoming and made sure my stay was perfect. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable! The house was very laid back and easy going and was great to have everyone chatting and having a good laugh every night around the kitchen diner. The house is a nice walk to godalming town centre where you can find shops, restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. Would highly recommend Steve and Julie to anyone looking for a place in surrey. Thanks again!!

  • Not far from a sacred spring, in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood Steve and Julie welcomed me into their beautiful and creative home. I will always remember the two days I spent there. The facts are that the room was very special, with an amazing view into the garden. The shower was a power shower and everything is tidy and clean. The kitchen as the entire house, warm and loving, a home away from home feeling, and the decor and design, fabulous. The best part is that Steve and Julie really made me feel at home and we spent hours talking and laughing together, over tea and good wine. Thank you Steve and Julie. I`ll be back and for anyone who discovers this post, and you are considering a stay, DO IT! You`ll be happy you did. I sure will not forget it. Daniela M. Forster.

  • Steve and Julie are wonderfully welcoming, friendly hosts, very helpful and well organised. It seems they have been welcoming house guests for a long time, and are great at it.
The room is well set up, simple and comfortable. They provided a range of breakfast options, tea, coffee, use of their well-equipped kitchen and laundry.
The house is a pleasant 10-15minute walk into Godalming's centre, where you can find a modest range of eating options, supermarket, and regular train services to London and other nearby towns, for example Guildford, where the University of Surrey is not far from the railway station.
If you're looking to stay in this part of the country, I thoroughly recommend Steve and Julie to you.
