  • I had a wonderful stay in Pablo and Brenda's tenement flat in the West End. Pablo was away during my stay but Brenda was around and a great host- she was around in the evenings if I needed anything but also very cool and accommodating about me coming and going and doing my own thing.

The flat was very clean and welcoming, and I slept really well in the comfy bed in the spare room. Brenda provided lots of delicious breakfasty things for me to eat- including some homemade muesli. There are some interesting photography/art/architecture themed books in the living room which reflect P+B's interests and made for some nice reading over breakfast in the mornings.

Location-wise the flat is perfect- Byres Rd less than 5 mins walk and is full of shops, delis, bars and eateries. I enjoyed Little Italy for a fantastic meal for one and the University Cafe for a no-frills coffee in a booth with old-fashioned surroundings. The subway is a 5 min walk and takes you into the centre in about 12 minutes.

I'd definitely recommend Pablo and Brenda as hosts, and sure I'll be back in touch if I find myself in Glasgow again.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Pablo's flat. It was in a fantastic area - with lots of quirky bars and restaurants and with easy access to the rest of the city. The flat itself was stylish, clean and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome from the start.

  • Beautiful flat in a beautiful location with beautiful people. I definitely recommend this stay. The room was clean with a lovely set out and even your own kettle, tea and coffee. The personable touches in the room just showed that Brenda and Pablo really care about their guests. Brenda was more than obliging to help out with directions and recommendations. Absolutely wonderful!

  • My gf and I had a great time at this funky west end flat. It's located in the heart of west end so everything you need is on your doorstep. The flat is beautifully presented and the room is spacious and warm. Pablo and Brenda are super friendly and easy to communicate with. They even took us out for a true Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend a stay!

  • Pablo and Brenda are very kind and welcoming hosts. I stayed with them for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The room is very well appointed with a desk and dresser, even your own water kettle and fixings for tea and coffee! The apartment has a nice kitchen and cozy living room, which Pablo and Brenda are very generous about sharing, making sure you feel at home. They are respectful if you'd like your own privacy and just as friendly and warm if you feel like having a chat. I can highly recommend staying with them.

    Thanks Pablo and Brenda!

  • What a lovely flat and guestroom! The title is absolutely fitting. If and when I return to Glasgow, I would definitely want to stay here again. Pablo and Brenda took such good care of me - they accommodated my early morning arrival, greeted me with tea and helped me with various requests (I didn't have an alarm clock so they lent me one, etc). I appreciated their enthusiasm and easy-going nature. I felt very welcome in their home and enjoyed, most of all, our conversations in their comfy living room. The bedroom is lovely, clean and inviting; I slept well here and was kept warm despite the wet, wintry weather. In addition, the location is fantastic. The #747 bus from the airport drops you off within a 10-minute walk from their flat (slightly uphill, nothing drastic). Within two blocks of their flat are two great cafes and others that I didn't try but looked enticing. On Saturdays (and maybe other days, too) is a farmer's market.
