This is my second time staying at this location. Again, everything was great. An amazing home and an amazing host. Kelty was very accommodating and informative about the city, and the location of the house is perfect!
This perfect house is where you want to be in Halifax! Central!
Everything in walking distance, downtown, grocery / liquor store, restaurants, public gardens, Citadel, University campus, Hospital, historic cemeteries, Pier 21 down the hill. It was our first time in Halifax and we thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we had a car, conveniently parking in the back, we tended to walk most of the time. Having the dishwasher made it easy to clean up and get on our way!
The hosts provide all things to feel at home.
A few friends and myself booked Kelty's house for 5 days in early September and had an incredibly enjoyable stay. The house was in a fantastic location, a quick stroll and we were downtown, enjoying what Halifax had to offer. Besides the location, the house itself is beautiful. This was my first experience with Airbnb, and it was fantastic!
The house was great. It was in a good location, right in downtown Halifax and you could walk to Spring Garden Road, the waterfront, and the farmers market. Kelty, her husband, and son were at the house to meet us. They have a black binder with the house rules and it has everything you need in it to get situated. I would recommend this house to folks interested in staying in downtown Halifax and would stay there again.
My family of 4 had a great stay in this house. The location was perfect, we could walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The house had everything we needed as well as a couple of extras like toys for our kids! Thanks for sharing your house with us, we had a great vacation.
This house is in a wonderful location close to all amenities in downtown Halifax. The house was very clean and well decorated and made our guests feel they were living in style! It's a very comfortable place.
The hosts were great to deal with - we will definitely book this house again if it's available next summer! Thanks for everything.
Kelty's place is absolutely beautiful and she is an accommodating host willing to help in any way she can. 3 of us stayed here while attending a conference downtown. We were able to walk to the conference which was an added bonus. Housekeepers June and Mark met us to give us the key. They made us feel right at home and gave some suggestions for things to do while we were in Halifax. The house had everything we could possibly need and there were lots of thoughtful extras like hand lotion, tea, umbrellas, and slippers available for us to use. By far one of the best Airbnb experiences yet.
We love to travel off the beaten path to meet new people from around the globe and learn about their cultures. We are huge animal lovers and enjoy most outdoor activities. We are between Halifax and our home town Miramichi frequently so we list our Halifax house for airbnb users to enjoy while we are away.
