The space

Warm breezes flow through the palm trees, sunshine or sunset, our rooftop patio overlooks the Caribbean Sea-perfect for your lazy morning coffee, sunbathing, sunset cocktails or midnight stargazing. C'est la vie at *Sea La Vie*!

You've spent the day surfing nearby, or at the beach and now it's time to chill! Rinse off in our rain style outdoor shower... and then head to the roof! Or through french doors onto "the front porch", a secure open-air living and dining area- set in the lush garden, which offers an ocean view through the front gates.

The living room has cable TV and a "concierge" desk, with a map of all my favorite spots on the island, "Ins & Outs of Barbados" magazine, maps and useful information. There is also a set of dominos, cards, scrabble and backgammon for you to enjoy!

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet & cable TV. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed & cable TV. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. Fourth bedroom has a double bed. There is also a single bed mattress, which can moved as needed for youngsters, or young at heart adults. All bedrooms have air conditioning, except 4th bedroom.

The kitchen has everything you need; fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, food processor, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are even some local jams, chutneys and pepper sauces in the fridge for you to sample! We've also just added a propane BBQ, so you can grill up fresh fish from Oistins Fish Market!

Washer/dryer in the laundry room and two clothes lines for an authentic "ocean breeze"scent. "Gain" has been trying to bottle it for ages!

You will have the entire place to yourself, but don't be shy... you can reach me anytime via telephone or e-mail for questions about the house, tips about the island, or recommendations on car rentals, tours, babysitters or anything else!

Lovely well maintained and upscale neighborhood. Safe and family friendly.

View of Freights Bay: excellent beginner surfing, and SUP-ing (stand-up paddle boarding)-most surf schools offer their lessons here. South Point surf spot only 10 minute walk for avid surfers. Followed by Silver sands, home of Brian Talma and Surfers point for kite and wind surfing.

Miami Beach: 10 minute walk, a calm side that is shallow without waves perfect for small children and infants and a not so calm side for the rest of us. "Mr. Delicious" canteen serves up local flavours: fish cakes, flying fish cutters, rotis, Bajan lemonade, rum punch and Banks Beer. Vendors on site with chairs & umbrellas.

Oistins: Next to Miami beach complete with supermarkets, banks, post office, café's, Chefette, and the famous "Oistins Fish Fry/Market", where you can buy your fish to cook at home or opt for an affordable and delicious plate of grilled catch!

I always have an amazing time in Barbados, but staying at Sea La Vie really upped the whole experience! Perfect location, across from freights bay and a 5 minute walk to south point...any surfer would love this place! Talia is the perfect blend of accommodating and AB&B professional. She checked in enough to make us feel looked after and was always available for any question that I had. I look forward to staying here again! :)

Separate La Vie is. My new favorite place to stay in Barbados. It's a surfer's dream, right across the street from Freights (Cotton House Bay), which is a great beginner/intermediate spot which can, in the rare and right conditions, throw up big waves and surf-competition-like conditions. The house is well equipped, the bees are comfy, the AC runs very well, the home is spacious and. The shaded patio and rooftop deck are perfect to relax on. The outdoor shower and ability to lock up my longboard on the porch was fantastic. Talia was very helpful and friendly, and the maid staff, Stacia, made everything perfect. There's a little orange cat that visits the property who I nicknamed Bertie. You may see him hanging out in the shade, shy and afraid of humans. There's also the occasional green monkey (or 3) crossing over the property--pretty normal by Bajan standards. And, there's several birds that come to the yard--2 types of hummingbirds, a jay, a pair of curious sparrows, a green parrot with a blue tail. Really enjoyed my stay and I hope to come back.

We all had a great, relaxing stay at sea la vie. It is across the street from our favorite surf spot, and the house has tons of space and everything we needed for a whole week with 5 adults and one baby.

Barbados is like a little paradise, it welcomed us very warmly. People are very friendly, but respect one's privacy, which gives you a chance to properly relax and enjoy your stay. The beaches are incredible, weather is warm, but not too hot and the water - perfect to cool down after sunbathing. The villa was perfect, had everything we needed, from beach towels to board games for a cheeky round of Scrabbles or Domino in the evening. The location was great, 10 minutes walk, though we tended to drive our rented Moke and mostly went to different beaches every day. I would 100% recommend the villa to either a group of friends or a family, it suits both. It really felt like home away. Talia was a great host, communication was very fast and easy, instructions very straight forward and we really appreciated the flexibility with check in and check out hours. All in all, we loved it all, would definitely recommend Sea La Vie as a place to stay and Barbados itself as a little escape for a chilled out holidays.
