Vintage ski cabin in Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake. Close to lake, village, food shopping, hiking trails, ski resorts. Stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, bedroom with triple bunk, double sofa bed. Kitchen & full bath. Cozy & romantic. Pets ok.
This place has so much vintage ski cabin charm. But the real deal makers are the huge native rock fireplace, the very high vaulted ceilings, and the extra large yard. It's such a cute, cozy, and romantic old school cabin compared to the newer huge suburban ones.
Guests have access to the National Forest hiking trails just a couple blocks away. The Big Bear Golf Course and Alpine Zoo are just down the road from the cabin, and the best part is the cabin is centered between Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ski mountains.
Interaction with Guests
I don't interact much at all with the guests, but am always just an email or text message away for their immediate concerns and convenience.
The Lower Moonridge neighborhood is quaint, quiet, and lovely. It's close enough to everything Big Bear has to offer, but far enough away to make you feel the calm and peacefulness of the mountains.
The MARTA shuttle, which travels around the entire Big. Bear Valley area, stops right down the street from the cabin.
Please respect my little mountain sanctuary. No indoor smoking.
Great experience! Cabin was as advertised and close to everything. Cabin was clean and had everything needed from appliances to extra blankets. Definitely have plans to return.
Enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin! Close to the little village which was nice, thanks for letting us have a nice weekend getaway
I spent the weekend here with my wife and 2 boys. It is what it says it is - a cozy mountain cabin. Very close to Bear Mountain, about a 3 minute drive. There's a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals. The only bit of advice I would give is don't park in the driveway if it's snowing. It is a bit steep and you may not make it out. And second, take quick showers. The hot water runs out s a great place. I would definitely stay here again.
What an awesome cabin this was! It was so cozy, it is close to the slopes, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Gianni was so nice and even left a water bowl out for our dog! The cabin was super clean, with plenty of blankets. Gianni was always just a text away and he left the instructions right on the fridge. We made dinner both nights and there is every appliance you need! We are definitely planning on staying again! Thank you Gianni!!
Gianni was a great host. While we did not see him, he reached out in advance of our stay and we felt very comfortable before checking in. The cabin is just as pictured. It was cozy and accommodated the two of us very well. We made use of the kitchen for meals and the fireplace for ambiance.
The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors very friendly. Snow Summit and Big Bear Ski resorts are minutes away. This place was in the perfect location for skiing.
We brought our small dog (10lbs) and he loved playing in the fresh snow!
We'd definitely stay here again!
Found cabin without toilet paper and an unmade bed/ wet towels. Other than that it was cozy! Close to town and good for a city getaway.
Our stay at Gianni s cozy cabin was just perfect. We had a wonderful 2 nights of cuddling and bonding with my family plus the 7th bday of our boy was as expected was very relaxing. .. We appreciate the welcome present, yummy...Only concern the steep driveway, we got stuck in the snow even snow chain can't help, bummer - we are not use to snow that's why :-) ♡ next time again. Happy Holidays!
