Welcome to your new Vermont escape! This custom-built 2BR/1BA pet and smoke free home is nestled in the foothills of the green mountains. Our home sits on a 14 acre lot and is close to hiking, skiing, a horse farm, lakes and Rutland (10 mins). You will love the woodwork, luxury white bedding, floor-to-ceiling windows, massive sunny deck, and peace and quiet. There is plenty of space for family memory making, your peaceful mountain retreat awaits!

When you walk into the home from the road side of the lot, you will first walk into a large entry way, where you will have a clean and secure space to hang your hat/coat and store any ski gear, bikes or other recreational toys you decide to bring up.

You will then enter the kitchen where you will be greeted with an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, real pine everything, a fully equipped kitchen, and floor to ceiling windows.

The "breakfast nook" serves as a sunny place to dine in the morning and a beautiful family gathering space in the evening.

There are two equal sized bedrooms with one queen bed in each room that share a common hallway bath.

Our place is heated by gas and always warm and cozy (to your liking of course).

When you walk through to the back of the home (away from the road), you are greeted with beautiful vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that overlook farmland, horses and the green mountains you came here for!

Essentials Provided: Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, lotion, TP, paper towels, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, cooking oil, dish soap, new sponge every turnover, laundry detergent, and much more!

There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the unfinished basement. We have a streaming television and very fast wi-fi.

Kindly be aware that after your booking is confirmed, a rental agreement and ID verification will be sent for you to complete to stay in compliance with local laws.

(10 minutes), Burlington, VT (1.5 hours) Albany, NY (just under 2 hours) and Boston (3 hours).

I am a committed Christian, but you won't hear about it unless you want to. I'm an outgoing people person yet I love my own space too. I have spent most of my waking hours outdoors. I have 2 children and am recently widowed. I will likely be spending very little time in whatever unit I am renting, unless it is a big unit for the purpose of gathering with my children. I play a little bass guitar. I love to hang with good friends and have a beer, and I'd rather do that around a fire than in a bar. I can pretty much fix anything you can break and might welcome your maintenance challenges if I have some down time. Haha! I am also a bit of a computer idiot! I have tried to put a photo up here but can't figure out how to do so. I hate it when the kids move out!! I'll see if my son can coach me over FaceTime soon. Sorry.
