Valerie was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help us in our time of need (evacuating FL from hurricane Irma). The cabin was very clean and functional. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time! We loved the hot tub, it was the perfect way to de-stress. We would recommend the fishing hole to anyone!

The Fishing Hole was a great place to stay or our trip to the Smokies. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub, which is out on the front porch. It was awesome to stay in a location that was quiet and felt miles away from the Gatlinburg strip -- yet was still close enough to easily get to the park. Thanks, Valerie!

This is a perfect place for a relaxing couple's retreat. The cabin is charmingly decorated, well equipped, comfortable, convenient, and located in wonderfully tranquil natural surroundings. We appreciated the washer/dryer and thoroughly enjoyed the front porch rocking chairs. Valerie, the host, was extremely helpful in answering our questions about things to do in the area.

Cozy cabin--perfect for romantic getaway! Comfy bed, nice linens, all supplies you need, ready hot tub and only 3 or so miles from artisans and restaurants. The roads are a little steep and windy to get there, so be careful.

This cabin is just as described. The host (Valerie) is awesome and responds very quickly. The cabin is very clean and well kept. If you are looking for seclusion but still want to be a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg, this is the perfect place for you. Don't forget to bring some bread to feed to the fish in the pond!

Great place to be secluded and only a short drive to downtown attractions. Definitely a great place for busy couples to take time to reconnect and relax together. Hot tub is wonderful and loved feeding the fish. She was great to offer suggestions on anything we needed

Hi, I was born & raised in Chicago area (Bensenville) & my parents bought a campground in Pigeon Forge where they moved me & my sisters here as a teenager. I know now, (not so much then) this is where I was meant to be. Gods country, as I and many call it here. I very rarely leave Gatlinburg, I love mountain living, I have 3, 1 bedroom nightly rental cabins that I clean & maintain (calling in the pros for repairs & some service). One on my rental cabins has it's own private swimming pool another has a it's own private fishing pond and the third is my crown jewel with awesome views....all are located on large lots (1 acre) on the same road.

I've worked in the 'hospitality' field since moving here, 30 years now & counting. I like to offer a 'Bed & Breakfast' feel to my renters without the 'Inn Keeper' or 'Breakfast'. All are furnished with luxury linens, nicer towels, the best paper products and a personal touch. I'm also a CPO (certified pool/spa operator) so know you will have nice safe soaks too! They are not far from where I live which has allowed me to live a really neat lifestyle that I love and feel blessed to have. It is difficult to make a living in Gatlinburg, there are mostly min wage positions here & that is why not many people get to live here. So if your visit is 2 nights or a week, I hope you get a chance to soak up the true essence of the mountains and the wilderness that still exists here. p.s. The bears just want your trash, not you & I hope you get to see one or two! (our black bears are vegetarians unlike the grizzlies out west however, stay clear of momma with cubs, they get protective, wouldn't you?!)
