About This Listing
Hi everyone! I got the title of SUPERHOST just some week ago, thanks to the guests' feedback! I got 5 stars from most of the people who lived in my apartment! Read the feedback and my profile. And DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME!
A nice room of 16 mt with balcony and a private bathroom, for two people. 10 min walking from Trastevere station, 15 min from Ostiense neighborhood (one of the areas of Roma's nightlife). 10-15 min to the centre of the city by bus or tram.
Rome is a big city and it has a large city center. Hence, deciding where to stay can be quite confusing.
The apartment is located in a residential area close to the centre of the city. Moreover, two of the areas of Rome's nightlife (Trastevere and Ostiense) are reachable by walking 10-15 minutes. Living in this area you can choose walking or taking one of the many means to reach the historical sites in the city center, taking an only mean. If you are traveling for work you can easily get to the areas where you need to go (Eur, Termini, Fiumicino, Parco dei Medici, Nuova Fiera di Roma, and Vecchia Fiera di Roma). Moreover the location is excellent if you need to go to the University of Roma Tre.
- bus no. 170 direct to "Termini Station" and the city center (Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia, Via Nazionale) about 20 minutes;
- train from "Trastevere Station" to "Fiumicino Airport" (28 minutes - track 5), to "Termini Station" (18 minutes - track 1) and to Tiburtina Station (21 minutes - track 4);
- train from "Trastevere Station" to the Vatican - "San Pietro Station" (7 minutes - track 2 or 6)
- tram no. 8 from "Trastevere Station" to the city center- Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia (10 minutes walk to the tram stop and then another 10 minute tram ride);
- bus no. 766 to "San Paolo Station" ( 5 minutes) where you can take the train to the beach in Rome ( 30 minutes by train).
The apartment is composed of 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and
2 balconies. One of the rooms is occupied by me, the owner.
The room for rent is suitable for a single or a double person. It has a double bed, a private bathroom and a large balcony.
You will receive the keys on your arrival and you will be free to come and go from the home as you wish!
Interaction with Guests
I like very much to get to know new people and to learn about their culture, and to share our experiences together. Moreover, it is a great opportunity for me to practice English, French, Portuguese, and Italian with guests.
Don't expect to see the Coliseum or the Vatican from the windows of the apartment.
The location is excellent and you can get to the city center walking for 25-30 minutes, or taking one of the many pubblic means. And it is already good for a huge city like Rome, considering that it is not possible to get to the important sites walking from most of the districts where apartments are located.
The neighborhood has many shops and supermarkets. It 's very close to Porta Portese (within walking distance) where, on Sundays, there is the most popular market in Rome. Just 5 minutes from the house there is a multiplex cinema, and in the evening you can dine in one of many restaurants in the area, both of typical Italian and foreign cuisines, such as, Japanese, Chinese and Middle Eastern.
There are a lot of bars (cafe), bakeries, pizzerias, etc. in the neighborhood of Trastevere. Nearby, you can take a ride to Ostiense district (Pyramid) and San Paolo. In particular in the Ostiense area (reachable on foot in 10-15 minutes) there are several places for young people to enjoy.

My girlfriend and me spent four wonderfull days in Rome also thanks to Massimo (and his friend Sonia) who made us feel welcome and at home.
The host: When we arrived we were recieved by Sonia, a friend of Massimo, with a big smile and taking all the time necessary to show us how to get around. Massimo himself we met later in the evening and he turned out to be a fantastic host. He was a great help and very nice company.
The room: The room is very spacious and nice and having a big private bathroom is certainly a great plus. Furthermore there is a kitchen with all commodities we could use as if our own.
The location: The appartment is situated in a lively neighbourhood close to Trastevere station and is easy to reach from the airport (Fiumicino). It may not be for people who want to stay over in old Rome, but the tree-bordered streets are full of bars and coffeeshops to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Furthermore the connection with the city centre is great with several buses and a tram leaving from Trastevere Station. The tram runs at least until 2 a.m. and passes every five minutes. From Trastevere there's also a train that will take you to the Vatican in 7 minutes.
Rome was incredible and Massimo's place highly recomendable.
Massimo was an exceptionally accommodating host. The apartment was beautiful, well kept, and Massimo went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, make recommendations, and make our stay in Rome as rich as possible. He even found out that I'm a dancer and gave me information on an Italian dance show. A very kind and caring host!
Massimo was a very nice host. We arrived late at night and he offered to show us a place to nib something! We were very grateful for that, specially cause we had no idea where we were at all! The location is about 30min from the centre, and you have to walk from the house to trastevere for about 7min to get to the station, trams come very often and you can get off at piazza Venezia, and you pretty much have everything within a walk distance. Also trains depart from trastevere station to the Vatican and main airport. However, tram waseasier, at least for us! You can buy the tickets for the tram by a Bar outside the train station 7 euro is worth it if you plan on returning back to the house and back again.
When you arrive at the airport Fuimicino do not buy the ticket by the airport but walk further to the station, you will save on queuing time!
Massimo, merci ! You are the right person, in the right position, at the right time… Surtout, ne change rien !
Definitely a super host! Friendly, helping out in Every way! Close to the train station and close to public transport (centre is a 20 min walk, but after a long day we took the tram). Great room, we slept like roses!
Dont book a room in the centre, this is value for money!
Thank you massimo for ur great help and 4 having us!!
Espacoso, limpo, organizado e super confortavel.
