Kai was very welcoming and we had tea and a chat when I arrived. Futon-style mattress was very comfortable. Room was very good.

Response from Kai:
lengthy f/b - however I suggest in future you may endeavor to be a little less prescriptive: i.e. telling hosts what you think they should / should not do

Kai was a really great host, very relaxed! Upon arrival she made me feel at home by making me the best tea I ever had.

Response from Kai:
thanks Mark - plumbing has been an issue in this house and my water bills over the roof, so will get this checked. My apologies re the chair - we have one really good office chair at the moment being used by Tam and the one in the bedroom kind of a temporary arrangement pending sufficient funds, stretched to the limit unfortunately - of course, when i get my penthouse in the hills i'll make up for this........

Kai was very lovely and accomodating. The room was lovely and the house is just a 2-minute walk away fron Eden Grove Bus stop. Would recommend!

guess you can't please all the people all the time - really genuinely surprised by this feedback and actually regret the review just written for them:.. not sure what Serena and Benoit were expecting, but perhaps they'd be better off staying in a five star hotel next time, close to a tourist office. The many more other really positive experiences from guests hopefully will overide this particular couples extremely high expectations which potential future hosts would be well to heed, in that they will be VERY high maintenance.
