What an Organic Place! Great for those into gardening and little Havana and Wynwood are close too. Panthers Cafe in Wynwood is yummy!
We had no problems at all but it should be noted the neighbourhood is a little poor. We felt very safe at Leslie's place with the long term residents in their patch of Paradise tho!
Very nice experience. Leslie and Ray make you feel very welcome and will do everything to help. Clean and convenient room with kitchen e and bathroom. Interesting place with superb garden.
What a pleasant and unique stay, on this peaceful urban farm! Leslie and Ray were welcoming and helpful guides to the farm and to Miami. The cabin was cozy, clean and very comfortable. We made good use of the kitchen, cooking farm fresh food, including eggs and kale. Yum! The farm offers a lush green oasis in the heart of Miami, with tall shade trees, tree houses, veggie gardens, and friendly animals (cats, birds, goats, pigs, and even emus!) Don't miss out on a kayak ride down the Miami River, on one of the farm's kayaks. If you're here on a Sunday, make sure to join the community volleyball game. We enjoyed spending time with the other guests, neighbors, and our helpful hosts, all within the beauty, peace, and nature of this special farm.
Leslie and Ray were wonderful hosts, they checked in after the first night to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin was clean, had a/c, everything was in good working order. We only stayed 2 nights. Wish we had more time to stay and chat with Leslie, Ray, and the other guests. The accomodations are very well suited for interacting with everyone. Privacy was available and respected too. Definitely stay here if you are a curious and open minded person.
I love these people, they are magnificent humans, I would stay there again and again. A rare experience.
We had a wonderful time at Leslie's and Ray's amazing urban farm - you even forget that you're actually in a big city.
Little Haiti is probably not the nicest neighborhood in Miami but we never felt unsafe.
This farm is the perfect place to let you forget about your everyday life, we felt so free and relaxed, especially after we enjoyed that amazing open air shower and the several different chill-out areas (hammocks, porch swing...).

I moved to the farm in November, 2012, just before Ray and I celebrated our wedding in a big farm bash. Living here is delightful, waking to the sounds of roosters and turkeys. I give farm tours and nature classes at the farm and am enjoying being an airbnb host. I like joyful times shared with my family and community, including potluck vegan dinners, volleyball, lively conversations.
As a traveler I've always preferred to stay among the local people rather than in a touristy hotel. So here at the farm, I try to give guests a feeling of inclusion and an opportunity to add their own special qualities and talents to our community.
