This area is the oldest part of Positano-great for discovering the local culture and enjoy every aspect of your holiday. The local green grocers and minimarket are almost on the doorstep and they sell delicious Mediterranean produce & delicacies. The nearest restaurant is 10 mins walk distant, you don't need a car because the village is very small and is difficult to find parking space, we suggest don't come to Positano with car !!!

Clem's cozy apartment was exactly as pictured and better than even we expected! The view from the balcony is breathtaking, it was nice to relax and have a drink there before heading for dinner. Clem was a great host and was very informative. She gave us advice on things to do and see around Positano and recommended a few restaurants to us which were great. Overall a great place and great stay in Positano. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks!
Clem was very organised and emailed me the previous day to check what time we would be arriving. When we arrived she was at the apartment and gave us useful information about the town, transport and the best way to get to the town centre and back to the apartment.
Studio flat was very clean and modern and made our stay more enjoyable. It was great coming back to a clean and comfy place after a long day.
Studio flat is a 5-10 minute walk down the stairs to the town centre, very convenient location. Or you can take the road if you don't like stairs which takes a bit longer, maybe 12-15 minutes. Best to take the stairs down and take the road back up. If you don't feel like walking at all, you can take the short walk up to the bus stop in the town square (it's not really a square it's a tiny area where the bus leaves from) & then take either the Positano Interno or Nocelle bus and get out at the Liperati bus stop (about 3 minutes ride), and from that stop the apartment is 1 minute away. Buy your ticket from the Tabacchi shop opposite the bus stop before riding for a slightly cheaper fare.
As for the town itself, it was beautiful. However we went in peak season and also during the Italian holiday (our stay was from 13/8-19/8)and the town was teaming with both foreign tourists and Italians on their holidays. It was way too touristy for us and there were too many people. So I would recommend going at at a different time. Although after the Italian holiday finished, half the people disappeared from the town. Restaurants were generally great, I would recommend Covo de Saraceni brasserie, (not the restaurant) near the beach if you like authentic Italian food and a casual dining style.
Do not bother going to Capri, especially in the month of August, completely overrated, Positano is much nicer. if
If you must go, check before to see if the blue grotto is open or closed as in my opinion this is the only reason to visit Capri, and when we went, it was closed due to rough sea conditions.
Overall, Positano was a spectacular city (especially at night), and a great place for a honeymoon, with fantastic food, and the beach (not the main one) was great. The studio flat was one of the best things about the trip.
The only thing is the bed is a bit small, especially for my 6 foot 2 husband.
Also don't come during the August Italian holiday!
Amazing apartment in fab location - we arrived in positano after a long journey from sardinia and were so excited to arrive at clem's apartment. It's in a Percy location, close to bus stop and under 10min to beach and centre of town. It's really well equipped, spotlessly clean and has one of the best views I've ever seen! Would definitely recommend.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is located higher up in town so you will get great views from the patio. The unit itself was newly upgraded with good kitchen and bathroom. There is a market just below the unit, which we found convenient for groceries. The host was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place.
The room was clean and comfy . The host very friendly and helpful, she even give us a free ride when we dropped off wrong bus stop . The place just 1 min walking distance to bus stop and a mini market . Very convenience .
This airbnb stay was absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough about how emmaculate and well kept the place is. It was spotless, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The terrace view was breathtaking and the perfect spot to sit and relax in the evening. The location is great, only 5-10 minutes down to the city center and another 5 to the beach. Yes there are stairs, but there is an option to take the sidewalk down instead. We are in our 20s and fit do the stairs werent too big of a deal. Mini market very close with wonderful people to help you out with local cheese/wine etc. Clem was a perfect host! Helped us with suggestions on where to go, gave us directions and helped us arrange transfers to get from Naples to Positano. She was easily accessible and SO kind. She goes out of her way to help out. We will definitely return and reccomend to anyone travelling to this destination. Thanks Clem for a great stay :)
We had a wonderful experience staying in Clem's flat in Positano. The location was great providing a beautiful view overlooking Positano while being a short walk to the harbor and beaches. The apartment was clean and well maintained and Clem was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful in organizing an airport transfer from Naples and recommending great restaurants in town.
