It was quite a charming area and very easy to find from the train station. Tim welcomed me at the door and carried my luggage up the stairs. He was welcoming and professional. The room was cozy and charming; the bathroom very clean.
They ask you what you want for breakfast the next morning, but I had to catch an early train. Wish I could have stayed another night!
Tim is a great host. he understand the needs of travelers and provided me with a good understanding of how his operation works. i felt comfortable and secure immediately (i had just transitioned from a place that was not my cup of tea). the room was well equipped with all the comforts and having an en suite room really made all the difference in my comfort. Breakfast was yummy and Tim graciously accommodated my gluten free needs.
It was a perfect choice to choose Tim's house. It was more like professiobal accomodation than a family house, but completely good. Tim was friendly and gave me many information about Stratford upon avon. The food was the exact english breakfast and I liked it. You can feel how comfortable it is and so surely I recommend Tim's house.
My host made me feel extremely welcome, and gave me as much help as a custom concierge, including bus and train travel info and maps, important sights not to miss, and general info for woman traveling alone and newcomer to the area.
I felt that the description of the space was reasonably accurate. It was very conveniently located in the town. There are vegetarian breakfast options -- always worth knowing if you travel with people with food restrictions.
Tim was very welcoming and helpful. When I needed to extend my stay and he was full up, he helped me find accommodation elsewhere, which I really appreciate.
Tim was very welcoming and told me everything I needed to know about Stratford-upon-Avon. I was very happy with my room, and was even able to make myself a cup of tea before turning in for the night! If I had one complaint, it would be that the walls there are paper thin, so if you have noisy neighbors, that could be a problem. Luckily, in my case, my neighbors went to bed before I did, so I was able to get a sound night's sleep and wake to a delicious complimentary breakfast in the morning. From the inn, it's just a five-minute walk into town and all the historic sites it has to offer.
