Where you’ll be

Ardmore, County Waterford, Ireland

This is a rural setting but the beautiful village of Ardmore is 2 miles away, with lovely galleries and craft shops. An Rinn known for its fishing and Seaweed baths are very close.
Dungarvan is 25 minutes drive and is a great shopping town, with lovely coffee shops and restaurants.
The Waterford Greenway, with starting point in Dungarvan is a cycle way on the old railway tracks, all the way to Waterford.
The historic town of Lismore is close by.
Just 50 minutes from both Cork and Waterford you can have a day in the City too.
Cobh is also a great place to visit as it was the place where many Irish set sail for a new life in America.

I am married with 3 boys aged 17, 13 and 9. I am originally from Dublin but now living in Co Waterford. I spent 23 years working in the Pharmaceutical Industry eventually getting to Director level and I have now packed in the corporate world to enjoy life - in the beautiful Co Waterford countryside looking at the Atlantic Ocean. I love baking, family, art, antiques, travelling - learning about different cultures and food. I reckon I am half way through my life at 48 so I've had enough of running and racing and Im into my second phase while I am still young enough to enjoy it !
