The Neighborhood:
***************************************************************************
At the crossroad of NoHo, SoHo, East Village, and Bowery, the neighborhood is in the center of many attractions and a walking distance from anywhere you want to go downtown (and an easy subway ride to anywhere else in NYC). While NoHo is primarily made up of loft apartments, which in turn makes it one of the most expensive and desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan, the East Village is the birthplace of Beatniks, counterculture and punk rock. On a typical weekday, college students swarm the streets of the East Village. On a typical night, young adults populate the East Village’s bars, concerts, clubs and comedy shows. Moving further east, Alphabet City and the Bowery’s hip boutiques and restaurants attract an artistic crowd. For the best shopping and visit to art galleries make sure you visit SoHo just below Houston St.

  • Bonjour,

Nous avons passé un super séjour d'une semaine à NYC et l'appartement de Duk est bien placé et bien entretenu.
    Good trip:-)

    April 2014
  • My wife and I stayed 4 nights in Duk's apartment this March. First of all let me say that it is extremely easy to communicate with Duk. Although we didn't meet in person, he was very fast to answer all our questions, and his answers were helpful.
Although we arrived later in the evening, key pickup was easy and Duk also prepared a backup plan, should we arrive later than expected. The apartment is clean and cosy and in a good location for exploring Lower East Side Neighbourhoods on foot. The subway stations is five minutes away, so it is realy easy to get around town using public transportation.
Reccomended booking, if Lower East Side is your desired location.

  • We spent a week in Duk's apartment this April and really enjoyed our time there.
The place is clean and located in a very nice area in NYC with lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby! This is a perfect location to go sightseeing in Manhattan/ Brooklyn or just enjoy NYC life. It was perfect!
Besides that, it was very easy to communicate with Duk both before and during our stay. He was always making sure everything was fine.
    I would definitely recommend Duk's apartment !

  • Nice apartment in a beautiful location! Close to subway and shopping! Clean and tidy! Duk is kind and considerate! I will return for sure!

  • Duk's place is awesome! Its well situated: we were close to a variety of restaurants, coffe shops, boutiques, bars, etc. Everything was in a walking distance, thats what I loved te most. The apartment is cozy, clean and furnished (fresh towels, dishes, ...). There's only one queen size bed, its super comfy, like crazy comfy! (I was a bit shocked since I rarely sleep well elsewhere 'cause my bed back home is huge and comfy).

We've never actually met Duk but we stayed in touch the whole time. He made sure we had everything we needed, that was really sweet amd easy. I strongly recommand his place for your next stay in NYC if you want a true city experience.

    Cheers!

  • Duk was very easy and pleasant to communicate with and very helpful when I had questions about anything. His responses were also very prompt. I did not stay at the apartment myself, but arranged it for a coworker and that coworker had a very pleasant stay in the apartment and had only good things to say about it!

    Thanks so much Duk!!

    February 2014
  • Duk was awesome to deal with. He communicated quickly, gave me all the info I needed, and provided some helpful tips to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. He kindly accommodated my early arrival which was a huge help. The apartment is sparse but it was very clean, the location is great, and it met all my needs. Recommended.

  • We never met Duk personally, but the key pickup and communications were efficient and quick. Great location, and the apartment served as a good "home base" from which to experience the city. The apartment was clean upon arrival, and there were plenty of fresh towels and linens. Overall the experience worked out very well!

  • Apt as described and Duk was exceedingly helpful, I had a late flight out from NYC on check out day and was offered a late checkout which was highly appreciated.

Communication was quick and efficient and the apt was clean and warm.

  • The appartement was exactly what we were looking for. It's clean, perfectly located, a bit hot, but fixed with the windows opened. We don't have seen Duk, but the communication was very efficient. I recommend this quality/price choice.
