Tiny Trimbelle is a cozy retreat on the scenic County O in Wisconsin. Classified as a park model cabin, Tiny Trimbelle’s atmosphere and amenities add up to so much more than its 400 square feet footprint. This cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, screened porch, beautiful river view, wi-fi, A/C, a large TV with a DVD player, Roku, and more. Enjoy privacy and the natural beauty of the Trimbelle River with more amenities than a local hotel, and owners next door in case of questions or concerns.

The space
This cabin may be tiny, but it makes good use of the space it has. There is a short flight of stairs to get in to the cabin, as well as a steep flight of stairs up to the loft area. (Note: these stairs may be a hazard for very young children.)
The master bedroom has plenty of storage and a queen bed. The living room couch and the loft couch both fold out into additional beds. A queen-sized air mattress can also be available if you request in advance, if that's more comfy for you.

The bathroom contains the toilet, a shower, sink, the onsite washer/dryer, and a hair dryer. Towels and a few bathroom essentials (including a conditioning shampoo and soap) will be provided.

The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, gas stove/oven, a microwave, teapot and coffeepot (with some teas/coffee available), and dishes and cookware. There is a travel-sized iron and ironing board in the bedroom as well.

The living room has a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a Roku connected to broadband internet for streaming videos. The cabin DOES NOT have cable TV, but the Roku has some apps such as CBS and YouTubeTV which can fill in the gaps. A printer is located in the loft for guests' use. Instructions for all of these will be found in the orange binder in the cabin.

This cabin DOES NOT have a landline phone. You may make phone calls over WiFi if your cellphone is wi-fi enabled (check with your phone provider prior to your arrival). The cabin's wi-fi uses 5GHz band; not all older devices may be compatible. Note that we are located in a valley in the country and cellular service for your carrier may or may not be available.

Guest access
In addition to the whole cabin, guests can enjoy a walk down the driveway to the river and walk our mini-trails beside the river. You'll end up about back where you started. It's short, but sweet, and perfect for kids and dogs. Our family likes to use these trails as well. You might even see some ducks, herons, or deer! Please stay on this side of the river. (You may see a small footbridge to the other side, but that area is not for our guests at this time.) We are in the country, so, depending on the season, we might have biting flies, mosquitoes, and/or ticks. We'll have bug spray, but if you have a preference, please bring your own. We highly recommend any dogs be pretreated with tick medicine several days prior to your stay.

If you plan on bringing a dog or other pet, we MUST know in advance. We do have a large, friendly black lab mix named Zissou. We DO NOT have any fenced areas for dogs, so if your dog is a runner, please keep him/her on a leash to be safe.

If you brought your swimsuit or your fly-fishing gear, why not try out the Trimbelle? We also have tubes available for relaxing and floating down the river during the summer months; if you're interested in tubing, please let us know prior to your arrival. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep both feet in the water at all times if you decide to cross adjacent properties. (Wisconsin law allows folks to walk the length of a river as long as they keep two feet in the water at all times, so you may see fishermen wandering through the river occasionally.) We currently do not have signage indicating property lines, so if you would like to know, we can show you in person upon request.

Other things to note
If you have any specific requests for amenities or need a different check-in/out time, please ask at least 48 hour prior to your check-in date. We'll try to accommodate your requests to the best of our ability. Unless otherwise arranged at least 48 hours prior to your arrival, check in time is any time after 3pm and check out time is no later than 11am to allow time for cleaning before the next guests arrive. Please message or text us when you are checking out.
