Our "mother-in-law" apartment in a restored historic farm house is attached to our main house by a common wrap around screened in porch. Originally built in the 1920's the Farmhouse situated on just under 2 acres overlooking the Medina river and has a great vibe. It is open concept living space with a central living area and sleeping loft with a small kitchenette (no stove or oven but has a microwave). It has a separate private second bedroom. It shares a very large deck with a fire pit.

This artistically-decorated farmhouse on the Median River provided everything we'd wanted ...a helpful host, bucolic setting, comfortable quarters, and proximity to San Antonio.

The farmhouse is truly a relaxing experience that makes your stress disappear. We woke up in the morning, made coffee in the coffee maker provided, and relaxed on the porch. The farmhouse is quiet and feels secluded even though you are in the town of Castroville. Perfect for peop…

It was a lovely place to stay. Comfortable, quiet and clean. The hosts are artists and there was lovely art all over the apartment!
