The host was outstanding !! Gave us a very warm welcome!! Explained our accommodations & gave us directions for places to eat!!
Meredith and Tommy were both very accommodating during my stay. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates, but Meredith was very quick in responding and she was able to change the dates on very short notice. The place was perfect for my needs - I was looking for something close to downtown because I didn't have a car. Tommy was nice enough one day to drop me off downtown on his way to work.
The bed was very comfortable and it was nice that the bathroom was attached. I hardly saw Meredith or Tommy during my stay, so it kind of felt like I had the place to myself. I would definitely stay there again.
My visit with Meredith was very comfortable & restful during a hectic work weekend. She was a curious & friendly companion during our visits over dinner . . .
The room is as pictured & is attached to a private bathroom which of course is extra special. The access was easy & parking was a breeze too. I trusted the neighborhood & felt safe as I walked around the area to cool spots like Fanci Freeze, plus Meredith had a list of hot spots for all ready when I got there. Very thoughtful overall.
This was just what I was looking for. Meredith and Tommy made me feel very welcome. Their location is fantastic for exploring downtown Boise on foot. The room was cozy and they even left some snacks and great recommendations for explorers.
Oh, and their dog is super friendly!
I would certainly stay again.
The room was exactly as described and close to everything I needed. Clean and private. Meredith and Tom were very welcoming! This is where I will stay anytime I'm in Boise. Great place!
My stay with Meredith and her husband went very smoothly. I unfortunately did not get to spend much time with my hosts but I always felt welcomed. Meredith made herself easy to get a hold of in case I had any questions or needed anything. You really cannot beat this location. Take a walk through the neighborhood, it's beautiful. The bed is the most comfortable one I've ever slept on. The connecting bathroom was a huge plus. It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful home. I look forward to a return visit.
This is a really awesome place in an incredible location. Meredith and Tommy were very welcoming and really make you feel like their house is your house while you are there. Loads of character in the 114 year old house, fresh flowers, clean sheets, and a private bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

I grew up in the San Fran Bay Area and have spent time in Colorado for college, Los Angeles for career advancement, and the Lake Tahoe Area for ski bumming. My husband Tommy was born and raised in Southern Louisiana. We relocated to Boise from Lake Tahoe a few years ago and have completely fallen in love with the small city/ big town feel. Boise is thriving with art, good food, and a progressive culture and we've had fun exploring the town. My husband and I are active, fun and adventurous, just recently married and enjoying life with our big dog and passion for restaurants, cooking, travel, snow sports and the outdoors!
