About this listing
Small private ocean front house with an incredible view . Can sleep up to six people .
Location: As it's in Tijuana, Mexico, in addition to visiting an impressive growing city it can be a kind of "gravity center" for visiting "Baja" also included Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo (and it's famous lobster) & Ensenada or new winery area of Valle Guadalupe.
You and your guests will enjoy Baja’s wonderful sunset views from the convenient terrace of this house. No matter the season, this cozy beach house has it all. In summer, the climate is mild in or out of the house; in winter, you can enjoy –beside the spectacular ocean view- reading, hearing music, watching T.V or just relaxing yourself at the heat of an old fashioned wood stove in the living room, although temperatures rarely get below 15o C.
The house has a bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom, spacious living room ; kitchen and outside terrace are waiting for you. There is an extra bedroom with two double beds and bathroom with its own entrance outside the house.
Capacity for 6 people. Maybe 8 using the sofas in living room
Kitchen is equipped with gas stove, oven, refrigerator, and an informal dining room. Services of coffee maker, blender, silver and dinnerware are also available
We provide clean towels and sheets every week,
The living room seats up to 10 people overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Cable T.V WiFi is included
The house is located 30 minutes driving south of San Ysidro border crossing. Either you come from U.S.A or Tijuana Int’l Airport any taxi cab will take you to Playas de Tijuana. From there, it’s about 4 minutes to the premises
There are two ways to access the beach, either through a steep path direct from the house or taking an easy 5 min. walk through neighborhood to reach the public access by stairs.
If you do not want to drive there are local buses or taxis that can take you in ten minutes –at the most- to three different shopping centers, supermarkets, bakeries, several banks, or movie cinemas located by. A “flea market” opens Mondays a few blocks away.
Everything in the house is for you to use it. There are a turn table with lots of old records, stereo radio, a piano (out of tune), an outside grill.
There is also cable TV and internet WiFi in the house.
Interaction with Guests
Usually I prefer not to interfere with guests vacations and leave them at their own and only give them suggestions about points of interest in the city of out of town, restaurants.
Playas de Tijuana is a closed area community without the traffic problems of the city center and you can walk or use bicycles to commute inside the area. There are small and big shopping centers close by, buses and taxis at walking distance from home.
Mondays is "market on wheels" day on the street so you can buy mainly fresh fruit and vegetables in a kind of "flea market" that goes for almost a mile long
There are convenience stores and big supermarkets at walking distances there are taxis and buses that can take you there or to downtown Tijuana in 30 minutes.
For longer trips (Ensenada,Rosarito or Valle de Guadalupe, the winnery area) you can bring your own or a rented car (american rent a car companies charge an extra insurance fee to bring their cars into Mexico) so its more convenient to rent in Tijuana with a Mexican rental company. You can travel by bus or taxis to visit those places but it is worth it!
Other Things to Note
My advise is to plan your stay for at least three days. House is not in the downtown of Tijuana, It 's at the sea shore and you spend the whole day relaxing with view and weather but maybe you feel to visit places either in town or somewhere else so my suggestion for you is planning your trip in advance an enjoy more!
The main “House rule” is to be respectful and clean.
If you bring your pet keep collect their "remains" .
No smoking in the house and: Please no drugs
