Peace and quiet

Cozy yet spacious studio apartment attached to the main house where I live. You will have your own private patio, a full kitchen. Most everything you would need is there. The bathroom is simple and small, but very nice and clean and all amenities you would need. The Studio apartment reflects my home, which is full of color and Mexican art/ folk art. It's not new or modern. Built in 1953, a Ranch House style. It's unique and full of life!

The space
The Studio Apt. is attached to the main house where I live, but separate, we have an adjoining wall. You will hear my T.V. and my dogs on occasion. The studio has a private entrance. Parking is just a few steps away from the apartment. No stairs! Motion lights come on at night to guide you. Once in the studio, it will feel spacious with an open floor plan. There is a beautiful fireplace with hearth and mantle. The fireplace is not operable. There is a Candelabra inside fireplace with candles. You are welcome to light them for that cozy ambiance. The bathroom is small but has a fairly large walk in shower. The Cal King bed sleeps 2. The sofa bed with memory foam mattress sleeps 1 adult. Keep in mind when the sofa bed is open, it will feel a bit crowded. The Studio has a 50" Roku T.V. and Netflix. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker. I provide many different kinds of ground coffee to use with the regular coffee maker and the Keurig. Other items provided are dishes, cooking utinsils, pots & pans, baking dishes, bowls, hand held mixer, a Magic Bullet for making smoothies. Everything you would need to cook a meal is provided. Sliding glass doors access your private patio. The space is warm and cozy. It's not perfect, but almost! I am proud to share it with you. It has been a work in progress for years. Much love has gone into creating it. I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Guest access
You have your own spacious patio with lots of seating and a little table with umbrella, Weber Gas Grill also.

Other things to note
Because of safety reasons I cannot accept children under 12 years old.

Hot water is a little slow getting to the Studio, be patient.

Please don't chop on any of the counter tops. Cutting boards provided in the draw.

Clean sheets for the Sofa Bed are in the closet clearly labeled.
You will find extra bed pillows in the closet also.

I have 2 little Shih Tzu's. One rarely barks and the other will let me know if someone is out front and if someone has come into the "Outdoor Living Room". They both bark when I come home.
I do not consider them yappers, but you will hear them.

Neighborhood highlights

I live in what is called "Old Escondido". This area has many Old Historic Homes. I have lived here for many years. I have great neighbors! My neighborhood is very diverse. I love it here! I feel very safe walking in my neighborhood. Our sweet downtown is blocks away. Many great restaurants and shops. Wonderful coffee at Esco Gelato. Fresh ground and made one cup at a time!
YUM!
In 2021, 2022, 2023 many new Coffee shops, Restaurants and Breweries within walking distance.

On another note, I need to mention that in the last few years neighbors with dogs have become accustomed to howling in unison when they hear sirens. There are approximately 6 dogs very close to my home.
I live in the city. This is a residential neighborhood.

Where I went to school: Too many to mention.
My work: Entrepreneur
I am somewhat of an entrepreneur, somewhat creative. I am a homebody so I have not traveled much. If I did travel, I would be seeking out the unconventional spaces. I love the colors of Mexico and my home reflects that. I have a passion for decorating with my collections of Mexican Folk Art. I must add, I LOVE Mexican food! I Love animals! I have 2 adorable Shih tzu's. I love the planet we share and I do what I can to make it a better place for future generations. My home has been a work in progress for many years. I think I have always enjoyed hospitality, therefore I love sharing my home!
