Angela had everything ready & her home was just as described - a fantastic find really! The views were incredible and the neighborhood was nice. I would highly recommend a stay here!
What a great place to stay! Incredible view on a quiet street. Very clean home with lots of "niceties" for the guests. I would (& have) highly recommend to friends and family. Angela (the owner) was very accommodating and friendly. I'm personally looking forward to many more stays at this gem of a home!
This is a fabulous cottage in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed walking down through Old Town and the waterfront. Angela is well organized and the cottage has everything you could need. Oh and the view is just spectacular.
Angela's listing was perfect for our weekend trip to the Tacoma area. It was clean, had everything we needed and even a few fun extras (his & hers robes, fresh fruit bowl, etc.) and Angela was extremely responsive whenever we contacted her. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful view and be walking distance to restaurants and shops. Thanks Angela!
Listing was just as expected. Very nice place. Home away from home! Amazing views with relaxing atmosphere.
Angela's home was beautiful and the view was breathtaking, my out-of-town guests were very impressed. The kitchen was spacious and there was comfy seating all over the home. Angela was so helpful and generous with her home and everything in it (food, wine glasses, linens). We had everything we needed and it's in a very convenient and beautiful part of town. I currently live in Tacoma and I would definitely stay here again, especially when hosting guests (my current apartment is way too small). Thanks Angela!
Angela couldn't be nicer or more informative! She even had a notebook filled with listings of restaurants and attractions in the area, not to mention lovely handwritten cards describing how to use the lights, etc. and one that read ..."to enjoy anything in their house", i.e. food, etc. Lovely touches to a warm, cozy and inviting place. The neighborhood is exquisite with large family homes above and near the "old town" of Tacoma.
The house was truly amazing! It was a cozy house with a spectacular view of the sound. The house and amenities were much more than we expected. Plus, being a trip over Christmas, the owner went above and beyond by setting out Christmas movies, and she purchased a portable crib for us to use as well. This will be the first house we look for next time we are in town.
Completely amazing place. If you are visiting the area for the first time, you have to stay here. The view is too much to pass up. Just minutes from both 6th Ave and Proctor, there are a ton of great places to eat too. We couldn't have been more pleases with the house although since it was winter we didn't get to fully appreciate the front yard which would be so nice to hang out in during the brief summer months.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is charming, livable and very clean. Appreciated the milk and OJ in the fridge, and the other goodies. Didn't need to run to the market for little stuff.
The view IS great. Even though we had to stay inside most of the time, because the temps were in the high 20's. The views from inside, out over the water, ..... gorgeous ! We'll come back for some warmer weather, soon.
