This accommodation was a great place for me as it was conveniently located an 8 minute walk from where I needed to spend a lot of time - Holland College. This was important as it was in the middle of blizzard season and I didn't want to be driving around! The others that live in the house are college students and they were very interesting and nice people. Be aware that smokers live in this building so if that is not a problem for you I would recommend it highly. Lissa was very generous with her offer of a ride to and from the airport. If I did not already have this arranged with some other people this would have been very important for me. Lissa was also very generous with breakfast foods and made it very clear that if I needed anything beyond this that I was to help myself (remembering it was blizzard season. As in, TONS of snow!). The bed was new and super comfy!! The room tidy with lots of towels and extras if needed. The house is also within walking distance to the downtown core and many interesting heritage buildings/houses which I adored! Charlottetown is a wonderful place to explore and I would love to come back (maybe in the summer this time ; )
We just decided every single night spontaneously to stay longer, that's why this is the third review. So still everything just perfect! Thanks
Everything just perfect. Michel was an awesome host and supplied us with everything we needed! Thank you so much!
Hey our stay was awesome! We didn't get to know Lissa yet, but her husband is very nice and welcoming and prepares super delicious breakfast and coffee every morning. I can only recommend staying at this place!
From the moment I walked in Lissa couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. It was as though I was visiting an old friend.
Lissa stayed to chat and even went out especially to buy dinner, which she prepared for everyone (on hearing I had never tasted lobster!). I was invited to eat my first evening meal with Lissa, her lovely husband and other guest that was staying. We shared stories and a lot of laughter around the table.
At breakfast Lissa ensured that there was a wide variety of choice on offer to cater for every taste. I felt at all times that my comfort was uppermost in her mind.
My well equipped room was lovely, cosy and the bed so comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and well stocked with shower gel, hair products and moisturiser. Lissa cleaned the bathroom daily and sometimes even twice a day! The location was fantastic, being only a 5 minute walk into downtown Charlottetown and a car rental place.
I would unhesitatingly recommend Lissa to anyone wishing to visit and stay in PEI. I didn't only have a wonderful stay; I also felt like I discovered new friends.
Lissa was a wonderful host along with her husband, Michelle. They provided a lovely bedroom, even nicer than the photo. It was a nice welcoming, clean place to stay. Very close to downtown. Thank you so much for everything, Lissa! It was a pleasure.
Lissa and Michel are the most amazing hosts. From the very first minute I walked in, I felt welcomed and their efforts in ensuring my comfort was above all expectations. They are down to earth, friendly, genuinely loveable people. Simply the best. I strongly recommand them and will always be back here when needed. The cleanliness is impeccable, the beds are comfy and all of this with a smile. Location is great, few minutes walk from everything. A++++

I am a mother of four grown children. I teach part time and manage the guest houses. I enjoy taking walks, painting, reading, writing, drawing, gardening, baking, photography, sculpting and meeting new people that come to my home. I do my best to assure their stay is agreeable. I am working on opening more affordable accomodations to guests in different regions of Quebec and the maritimes.
