  • Lissa was a pleasure to deal with. She wasn't going to be around for the weekend, but she gave clear instructions about everything, and was in touch regularly, both during and leading up to my stay.

The room was perfect for my needs. The apartment was clean and cozy, with a nice living room, kitchen, and laundry facilities. It was a very close walk to everywhere I needed to go downtown in Charlottetown.

The only negative I can mention is that the neighbours are smokers, so when you enter the building, there is a cigarette smell. This is not a poor reflection on Lissa at all, and to her credit, there was an air freshener set up right at the front door of her place, meaning she had accounted for this as best she could. I only mention it in case there is someone looking here who has a severe cigarette sensitivity.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a wonderful city. Lissa was a fine host, and I would not hesitate at all to recommend her places to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

    Thanks Lissa.

  • Nice place - small (but bigger than it looks in the photo) and clean room with a decent sized kitchen and dining room downstairs. Ample piles of clean towels and a couple of bottled waters by the bed. Close to downtown, albeit on not a great street. It's a lot nicer inside than it looks from the outside though! This would be a good place for a family or group vacation where you want a budget 2 or 3 room place with a full kitchen and a dining room. Unless I missed it (and I really could have), no lock on the bedroom door, which would have been nice. Lissa was very responsive and helpful. Great value for money.

    Response from Lissa:

    Hi Matt,
Thank you for your time in writing this informative review. It is realistic and helpful. There aren't any locks. High season is around the corner and with lots of coming and going, best get some locks before an unfortunate incident happens. Thanks for the insight.

  • Had a wonderful stay, due to severe weather Lissa was unable to be there but communicated with me before hand to make sure that was okay. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house was great! Lots of room, full kitchen, bedrooms to ourself and an awesome awesome shower!! Not to mention we were able to walk anywhere we needed to.

  • very nicely appointed room, with crisp, clean, and inviting linens ... two shower heads that made the experience invigorating .... well stocked kitchen, with fresh produce and cereals for our breakfasts.... we enjoyed the small college town atmosphere .... did much walking .... drove much of the coast, and enjoyed outstanding scenery .... very enjoyable visit ... thank you Lissa!

  • Lissa was very accommodating and helpful. Myself and my partner had crossed a timezone and were an hour later than we thought, and also had trouble getting messages through from air bnb. Lissa was very patient and took us in regardless of the late check in. Thanks so much.

  • What a lovely space. Lissa and Michael so welcoming and helpful. If I needed anything I could count on them to support my needs and make any changes that would make my stay more enjoyable. Truly made my stay in Charlottetown a great experience.
I love that the space is walking distance from town and University avenue where I took my training. Even though I rented a car for a few days I found that it was not necessary and that downtown and shopping and the ocean and scene were accessible. Highly recommend Lissa an Michael as they made the trip even more of a blessing.
