My boyfriend and I stayed at a room at Lissa and Michel's Euston St. rental for 2 nights. There were pros and cons to staying there. Pros were:great hot breakfast, great location close to downtown Charlottetown, and our hosts were pleasant! Cons were there was a strong smell of smoke from another tenant in an apartment in another section of the house; the place was also older and was different from what the pics showed. We were disappointed because of this but stayed busy doing things in the area. If you are not picky about where you are staying, this is fine, but don't rely on the listing pictures for what your room may look like. It appears the room differs based on availability!
Lissa was there to great my fiancé and me. She showed us around the house and gave us some recommendations on we're to go and what to do in town. We visited for a while and shared stories. The place was clean and very central in Charlottetown. It was accurate to the listing. I'd stay again if I was back in Charlottetown.
After all these months, I now look at the picture above and think how life goes by so quickly. What seemed in a faraway future is now the past. I now know the man in the picture making a peace sign! I will never forget our meet at the airport, your two lovely children and wife. I am very happy I met you all and I do hope we shall continue to be friends. You are a lovely family and I wish you the best. Lissa
As much as I would love to learn Japanese, I could not understand your writing so I translated it. I hope the translation gives the overall meaning of your thoughts. Thank you for your kind words. I only wish I could have done more .
In terms of location, it is about 10 minutes walk to downtown, just a very convenient because there is also a convenience store next to. The room is clean, I am calm and quiet. Family four people and one dog was comfortably spent the week. In the morning, you can cook with the ingredients in the free kitchen on their own. Hill and because the kitchen can use night, made cooking on their own, it is economical. But to say what wonderful is the owner of the family. From the time you are in Japan, you can me a frequently contact, for example, by or me thinking the life of coming to Canada, and did a fine thoughtfulness so that it can be safe from before going to Canada. Date of arrival came to pick up to 12 at the airport of the middle of the night. for us to start a new life in Canada, it was me looking for a house together. I was also asked to look at or even children of care. Pets also gave us treats family as well. And I was able to start with confidence a new life in Canada is not considered Lisa, Michelle, without Maggie us. We will never forget their whole life. Lisa, I really appreciate that you have met Michelle, Maggie.
This accommodation was a great place for me as it was conveniently located an 8 minute walk from where I needed to spend a lot of time - Holland College. This was important as it was in the middle of blizzard season and I didn't want to be driving around! The others that live in the house are college students and they were very interesting and nice people. Be aware that smokers live in this building so if that is not a problem for you I would recommend it highly. Lissa was very generous with her offer of a ride to and from the airport. If I did not already have this arranged with some other people this would have been very important for me. Lissa was also very generous with breakfast foods and made it very clear that if I needed anything beyond this that I was to help myself (remembering it was blizzard season. As in, TONS of snow!). The bed was new and super comfy!! The room tidy with lots of towels and extras if needed. The house is also within walking distance to the downtown core and many interesting heritage buildings/houses which I adored! Charlottetown is a wonderful place to explore and I would love to come back (maybe in the summer this time ; )

About the Host, Lissa
I am a mother of four grown children. I teach part time and manage the guest houses. I enjoy taking walks, painting, reading, writing, drawing, gardening, baking, photography, sculpting and meeting new people that come to my home. I do my best to assure their stay is agreeable. I am working on opening more affordable accomodations to guests in different regions of Quebec and the maritimes.
