Come and enjoy some heritage luxury. An authentic Port Fairy blue stone cottage with all the modern appointments you could enjoy. It's the perfect setting for that "Romantic Getaway" or the peaceful indulgent retreat you've been dreaming about. Imagine sitting back in the luxurious corner spa, on the first night, sipping the complimentary wine and chocolates, then relaxing in front of the open flame gas log fire.
The cottage, built in 1860, is National Trust listed, but completely renovated inside tastefully to provide modern conveniences but true to its age old charm.
It has two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The main kitchen is fully functional with all cooking utensils, hot plates, microwave and dishwasher; complete with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The second bedroom has its own small separate kitchenette.
A short stroll across parkland takes you to the premier South Beach and the famous Pea Soup. It's only two blocks from the shops and restaurants. Stroll another hundred metres and sit on the Wharf or wander a little further across the causeway to Griffith Island for spectacular ocean views and our wonderful Lighthouse.
If it's the world famous Folk and Roots festival you love, we are only a hundred metres from the front gate.
There's ample off street parking for cars or even a boat if you're interested in Port Fairy's famous fishing.
The cottage enables you to live in the heart of the town with walking distance to everything. After a day at the beach relax in the spa or in the cold months; cosy up by the gas log fire. Wine chocolates and fruit await when you first arrive.

Campbell St. is one of the main streets in the town but very quiet. Within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, parks and beaches; and a hundred metres from the skate park. The majestic Norfolk palms line the streets and our lovely magpie family warmly chuckles every morning. It is within 50 metres from the pool, gym and famous Port Fairy Folk Festival gates.
There is no local public transport about the town, but a bus service to Warrnambool 200 metres up the road. Everything in the town is walking distance .

Why stay in an apartment or motel when you can have your own cottage in the heart of our town? A heritage listed blue stone 1860's cottage tastefully presented with all the luxury set for an indulgent retreat.
Enjoy our cottage and all a real Port Fairy heritage cottage experience can provide. Our place is also our holiday indulgence; filled with photos, books and modern amenities we too love escape to. We hope you to will share and respect our love of our cottage named after a young girl who began her teaching profession here in the 1880s; Elizabeth Margaret Brady.
Of note, Port Fairy water is bore water; quite clean but yucky tasting. We do have tank water available, but suggest you bring bottled water if you like a good cup of tea:)
