This unique setting offers a deeply romantic, calming, and restorative experience within nature. Whether you are a solo creative looking for a peaceful remote-work retreat, a family seeking a classic mountain weekend, or a couple wanting a private escape with plenty of space to stretch out, you will find total peace here. Wander through the cabin's cozy little nooks to read, sip coffee, or just watch the trees. You are minutes from downtown Phoenicia, world-class spas, and top New York ski resorts.
Inside, every detail is engineered for warmth and comfort. Unwind by the glowing, cast-iron wood-burning stove or melt into premium beds fitted with 500-thread-count sheets, plush down comforters, and thick blankets built for crisp mountain nights.
The Layout & Romantic Nooks:
While the cabin features three distinct sleeping spaces, it is an absolute dream for a single couple who wants a spacious, calming retreat. You can sleep in the primary bedroom and use the extra rooms as your own private sanctuaries.
• Primary Bedroom: 1 Queen bed with luxury linens.
• The Sun Porch "Treehouse" Nook: Floating above the babbling brook and surrounded by glass windows, this sunlit room shares the exact magical feel of a secluded treehouse. It features 2 cozy single Twin beds—the ultimate romantic spot to lounge, sip morning tea, and watch the autumn leaves or winter snow fall around you.
• Bedroom 3: 1 classic cabin Twin bunk bed set.

A beautifully designed chef's kitchen featuring modern appliances, a coffee maker/grinder, blender, and dishwasher. It is fully stocked with a complete set of pots and pans—perfect for whipping up fluffy morning pancakes or hearty autumn stews.

Enjoy the peace of a remote location with zero city noise. While there is no cell service on the ridge, the cabin is equipped with lightning-fast 83 Mbps Wi-Fi and a landline, making it an ideal destination for remote workers who need to take seamless video calls while staring out at nature.

Step outside onto the private stone patio overlooking the water. In the warmer months, enjoy the firewood grill and creekside fire pit. Nestled in the heart of the Woodland Valley, you are perfectly positioned for every season:

• Winter Sports: 25 minutes to Belleayre Ski Center; 35 minutes to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and Tannersville. (Note: Our driveway is professionally plowed during winter snowstorms!)

• Adventure: Direct access to legendary fly fishing, winter skiing, and stunning Catskills hiking trails right outside your door.

We love hosting guests and take great pride in maintaining our home and grounds. To ensure the property functions smoothly, essential maintenance services are required periodically. If you have concerns regarding scheduled maintenance, please ask us for the most recent service dates or when the next one is due.
Summer Months:
Ticks and mosquitoes are common in Upstate New York. While we treat the lawn monthly from May through September to reduce risks, we recommend bringing your own bug spray. We attempt to schedule these services around your stay, but as contractors have limited availability, we will inform you of any upcoming visits. Additionally, the lawn is mowed every 2-3 weeks, typically between guest check-ins.
Winter Months:
The driveway will be plowed during periods of heavy snowfall.
House Rules:
- Occupancy: Only registered guests included in your reservation are permitted to stay overnight.
- Visitors: You are welcome to have friends visit, but please ensure they park on the road. We only allow a maximum of two cars in the driveway.
- Electric Vehicles: Due to fire risks, please do not charge electric vehicles on the property.
- Safety: No weapons are allowed on the premises, and hunting or game killing is strictly prohibited.
- Utilities: Please note that we do not currently have a back-up generator.
