  • We had a pleasant stay in this big clean room with spacious closet, desk and a lot of natural light coming from the big double-window. The owners, Ezequiel e Valeria, are so nice and helpful, the 4 & 5 trains are just 4 blocks far and bus service is 1 block far so it's easy to get to Manhattan anytime. Great price, highly reccomended!

  • I loved staying with Ezequiel and Valeria. Since I arrived to NY, Ezequiel helped me to find my way to the apartment, with texts. They are very welcome, the apartment is great, minimalistic, clean and organized. They are quiet and very respectful. The trains were not working on the weekends and Ezequiel showed me an easier way to get to Manhattan. Valeria helped me with a problem I had and they are both very nice. I enjoyed a lot my stay. The only downside I see was the neighborhood and that it's far from Manhattan, (that's NYC anyways), but arriving to the apartment made everything much better. I totally recommend your stay with them.

  • First of all, the house is amazing. A spacious and bright house "every single room has windows to the outside in it", well founished and clean. Ezequiel is a great host, he helped me with laundry, where to find the better and less expensive groceries in the area and how to get the faster and easyer to Manhattan and some other spots in Brooklyn. Besides that ,he offered me a ride in his bike any time i pleased to visit Prospect park "wich is an amazing park close to the apartment". He is been a great host and help in a lovely house were to spend my vacations in NY (website hidden): Thanks for asking that taxi cab for me the day i was leaving, it really helped me to start no stress and confortably my way back. Thanks again and hugs Ezequiel, see you soon.

  • This was my first airbnb experience, and it was awful. I contacted the host days before arriving to coordinate getting into the apt since he was out of town. He was great at explaining everything and responded very promptly. When I arrived; however, I could not get into the place, because (I later found out) another guest was staying in the room and had not left the keys in the disclosed location. After 4 hours of standing in the rain, trying to contact Ezequiel with no success, and 2 airbnb customer service calls, I finally heard from Ezequiel and requested the number of one of his long term guests, whom I had to meet her at her job to acquire the keys. Because there was a guest checking out the same time day I was checking in, I had to wash my own sheets; the host did not have extra available. The apartment complex smelled awful and the hallway lights were burnt out so you could not see to even get down the stairs after dark. Further, the ceiling in the room I was staying leaks water when it rains, so the walls, and floor were soaked for the second night I was there. I put down towels to soak up the leak, and it created a bad smell in the insanely hot apartment. I could not wait to leave, and felt that I should've paid a bit more for better accomodation; I've learned my lesson. Please note that this is not a personal attack on the host, rather it is an expression of my own frustrations from the lack of organization which framed my experience. I did appreciate the location, however. Though far from the city, it was close to lots of public transport, shops and grocery stores. Nevertheless, I would not recommend the place nor stay in the future.

  • It's a nice place overall, but located in a creepy, shady neighborhood. Majority of the neighborhood is comprised of african-americans with some jews. It's about a 10 minute walk to the subway. That's what you get for the price you paid!

    Response from Ezequiel:

I think that the only creepy thing is your racist review.
Also, the apartment is 6/7 minutes walk to the subway (4 blocks)

  • The location made my stay perfect. A close walk to the train that got me into the city for work without any hassle. The room was clean and I was able to sleep well. Although I never got to meet Ezequial, he made sure he was available by email. I would have no problem stating again!

  • Ezekiel and his roommate were absolute sweethearts! Very kind and accommodating. Truly welcoming and friendly. Their apartment is extremely clean!!! Loved it. The room was cute, exactly as pictured and clean. I was quite relieved that the had great heating because it was very cold outside when I arrived (very warm and cozy).
