Interaction with Guests
I love hosting guests and interacting with them; You're a guest in my home and so you'll feel very welcome! Of course your room is your private space so you'll have plenty of peace and quiet to relax and recharge when you want.
Pacific Palisades is a hidden gem of a town, mostly filled with large luxurious homes, with fresh sea breezes all year round. There's a delightful downtown farmer's market every Sunday and plenty of dining options. When you want to be around action and nightlife, Santa Monica is just a short drive or bus ride away. You can even ride a bike on the trail that runs from the beach at Temescal Canyon all the way to Marina Del Rey and beyond.
There is a bus route stop less than a minute's walk away with direct 30 minute service to downtown Santa Monica. You can even ride the bus (it's a long ride!) to Hollywood along Sunset Blvd.
Other Things to Note
*Perfect location for a retreat at the Self Realization Fellowship- just a minute's walk away*
*Free unrestricted street parking is ideal for travelers with a car*
I don't like rules but unfortunately guest behavior has dictated the following:
-Be kind to your host and inform me via phone or text or email your EXACT ARRIVAL TIME as I have to be home when you get here. "Sometime after 4:30" is not good enough if you then arrive at 8. And if you're going to run late, CALL OR TEXT to give me an updated time. More communication= better experience for both parties! :D
-There are no refunds for partial stays. Sorry, but this no different to staying at a hotel. I know sometimes plans change and you may have to leave early so I really apologize in advance for this rule.
There is the deck, with a dazzling view on the bay and Santa Monica and there is Peter, a fellow traveller who is great at making accent. I had a Wonderful time (yes, with a big W). The room is big, the bed is comfortable, parking is easy and the swimming pool is heated... All you need is here and you definitely want to meet super host Peter. Thanks!
We had a great experience with Peter. He was very welcoming and accommodating. The location was great with access to lots of fun restaurants and bars. The view was also amazing.
Peter was there to welcome me when I arrived and made me feel very welcome and relaxed. He made sure I had everything I needed and was very helpful, recomending places to hike, swim, eat etc. etc. The apartment is beautiful, very open with lots of sun light and an amzing view! On a personal note, peter is just an awesome guy! We had some very interesting conversations and I can't wait to come back!
Awesome place, Peter was great and accommodated us last minute. The view was breathtaking and the apartment was great too.
What a great guy Peter is! We arrived in the Pacific Palisades but couldn't find it right away, so he helped us park. After showing us the nice room, he gave us lots of tips on trips, stores and other things to see in the neighbourhood. The room has it's own bathroom, which is nice. There is also a pool and a deck with view of the ocean. We didn't sat there much but we probably should have! Thanks again Peter for a nice experience!
Peter was a great host and very welcoming and hospitable. He is very funny and made sure I had everything I needed. I felt comfortable staying with him and a highlight was doing wii dance party 2!
The views from the apartment are stunning. If you want your water view fix this is the place. The pool is small but clean and the location is great if you want to get to the beaches easily. Free parking is one block away. The room is bright and spacious and has a very large empty closet and empty tower of drawers which is nice when you're traveling. I also made it to the lake shrine next door which he suggested and it was stunning.
We arrived on a beautiful day and the ocean was sparkling. Peter provided my husband and I our first Airbnb experience and was warm and welcoming. Our conversation flowed so easily; we made lots of connections. We offered ideas for traveling up the coast. He taught us about car design and wonderful experiences with how Airbnb works. We had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a fresh, delicious meal he prepared the next morning. I am so grateful to Peter for a truly terrific, beautiful experience with him overlooking the Pacific.
