We had a wonderful stay here ! The place was in a quiet safe neighborhood. My boys felt like they were staying in a mini tropical rainforest becuase of the cool gardens, foliage and flowers and birds in the main areas of the space..... The breakfast was amazing as well...tropical fruit and homemade breads. The room was clean and comfy as well. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Nelson !!

Comfortable. Easy to get to from the airport. Very hospitable and helpful host. Away from center, so it is quiet, but only a block from the bus downtown, 15 minutes

I loved this hotel! I wish I would have been able to stay here longer and tried the breakfast in the morning. The beds are comfortable, the a/c and fan in the room was excellent and everything was clean. The 3 people I met that work there all speak excellent English as well. It's close to a main road with bus access and a few restaurants as well. I like the rain forest and animal decor they did on the inside. Nelson also gave us a ride to the airport at 330am to catch our flight for 13000 colones, or about $25 US. I would recommend it for sure!

Our room was nice and comfortable. The hostel is very strange with lots of plants, fish, and animal cages. Hosts were very accommodating.

Stayed here for one night with my parents but would have loved to stay longer. Nelson was an amazing host; he messaged us when we arrived in San Jose to make sure that we knew how to get to Casa Lima. The place itself is beautiful and very relaxing! The rooms are very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Nelson gave us a lot of information about the best places to visit in Costa Rica and gave us many helpful tips as well! Will definitely be back here! Pura Vida!

Nelson has done a wonderful job with Casa Lima. The courtyard garden area is a great touch and brings bit of rain forest feel right inside for the guests. Actually Nelson and I have a couple of things in common. First, is that we both have young monkeys we love and adore. OK his has a heartbeat and mine is a sock monkey but... still. :) The second is a love of good food. I can honestly say I have some skills in the kitchen but Nelson rocks. I confess that I had been surprised and disappointed not to have experienced much of merit in terms of local cuisine during my stay in Costa Rica. That is not much until I got to Casa Lima. A case in point is that Nelson has mastered one of the most difficult of culinary pairings, fruit and fish. Pura vida Nelson!

"Un pequeño paraiso" is what we often hear from our guests... "A small-paradise." Casa Lima Apartments is nestled in one of Costa Rica's unique and privileged neighborhoods, Rohrmoser.

Located only 20 minutes from the airport (Juan Santamaria International Airport), 10 minutes from downtown San Jose, and three blocks from the American Embassy, Casa Lima offers the perfect strategic location when visiting the Central Valley and exploring Costa Rica. Casa Lima is just a short drive away from all the amenities of San Jose and Escazu, and is your ideal place for a tranquil and relaxing tropical vacation or business travel.
