Red Hook Share

Apartment - Private room · West 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231, United States

The Space

Semi-private bedroom on the border of trendy Carrol Gardens and up and coming artist community Red Hook.

Share my duplex, two bedroom, two bath apartment in Red Hook. This place is absolutely amazing. Located on the boarder between two of the best neighborhoods in Brooklyn. I am calling the bedroom semi private as the room available is off of the main bedroom without a "real" door. There is a curtain that closes the entry. But ultimately it is private. Private bathroom for use with a stand up shower or bath tub. My place has cable and Internet.

Other Things to Note

The room available has a twin bed and only accommodates one guest. For more than one guest there is an additional 50 per night to use my bedroom to accommodate.

  • It was great to stay at Keri's place. She is very friendly, easy going and helpful. It was nice chatting with her.
Her place is nice, and it worked perfectly for me. It's perfect for people who travel alone. The place has a nice kitchen and a private and clean bathroom. It was great to being able to cook my own breakfast freshly acquired from the Fairway supermarket which is nearby (by bike or car). For anyone who plans to stay here for the Red Hook Crit: the race track is on a 5-10 minutes bike ride. And so is Van Brunt street, a nice street with good restaurants, deli's and bars.

It's good to know for visitors that the room is not completely private but separated with a curtain from the other room. For me this works absolutely fine, but I know some people just want a door. I was never bothered by it and felt very comfortable in the place. Oh, and I slept very well.

  • Keri's place is very clean and well decorated. I had a good time talking to her and she was cool about my last minute extended stay. She is friendly and active, and she provided all the pillows for my crash landing back in NYC.

  • I am on a roll when it comes to airbnb bookings. It was very cool to meet Keri. She was really great to talk to and she knows a ton about the five boroughs. Her apartment is nothing short of spectacular and Red Hook is a great place to wander.

Fun, active, hard working and chill. I'm a fifth generation New Yorker who has a deep appreciation for all that this city and its surrounding boroughs have to offer. From roof top gatherings to Long Island beach nights, New York has it all. I have a great appreciation for design and creativity which translates into my career. I love the outdoors and am an avid snowboarder, surfer, biker and yogi.
